The café has a really cozy & inviting atmosphere, but it's not particularly suited for families with young kids. It feels more like a hangout spot for teenagers to socialize or meet new friends.
I tried the matcha latte - it was decent, though I personally prefer a stronger, slightly bitter matcha flavor. For lunch, I ordered the fried egg sandwich & the pork chop curry rice. The sandwich was nicely seasoned & quite enjoyable. The pork chop, while tasty, wasn't the traditional Japanese-style breaded version - it lacked the crispy panko coating you'd expect from a tonkatsu. That said, the curry sauce was very flavorful & well done.
Overall, the food was good, but the portion sizes were a bit small for my appetite.View more

Belle trouvaille. Un endroit où plusieurs jeunes branchés viennent travailler ou relaxer avec un livre & un café. L'espace est plus grand qu'il ne paraît, il y a plusieurs tailles de tables différentes. La musique est toujours bonne, & il y a parfois même un DJ présent. Un indicateur de décibels prouve que l'endroit respecte les clients. J'ai particulièrement aimé & DÉVORÉ le sandwich au saumon fumé, concombre & fromage à la crème. DÉLICIEUX. La fraîcheur des ingrédients était magique en cette journée de canicule. J'ai aussi goûté le sandwich aux oeufs, l'oeuf était préparé d'une manière que je n'avais jamais expérienced. C'était trop trop bon. J'ai pris un chaï latte glacé qui était non seulement tout mignon, mais aussi doux & bon, pas trop sucré même s'il était fait à partir de sirop. Mon amie a pris un cold brew, & la foam était majestueuse, c'était comme boire dans un gâteau moelleux. La terrasse est trop belle aussi. Je vais revenir c'est sûr! Great hangout/study space. Egg sando was bland & the bread texture is just okay (not fun to bite into); would recommend getting the Katsu sando in Chinatown instead. Chai Latte is also lacking flavor but not offensive.View more

Came here to find out what the hype was about.. we came a bit before they serve the sandwich. But there was a prob that occured, the air fryer was broken so we had to wait almost 40 min to get our sandwiches. Bc I wanted to try it so so bad & we were already there, we waited..
The food came, & honestly the taste was ok. It was not wow but it was a normal sandwhich that u could make at home.. also the karaage was tiny that I had a couple of bite with just bread & no chicken lol. Also the tamago is ok not too tasty..
Also ordered their Hojicha Latte & this was really good!! 10/10 , croissant is ok as well..

great food & cool vibes but definitely not a good place to get work done. it's located semi'underground' & has cool steel decor. the sandos are delicious & their matcha lattes are some of the best in the city! It does get quite loud in the cafe & the music is usually pretty loud too. plenty of seating but not enough outlets if you plan on doing work. Would recommend for going for lunch or hanging out!View more

I had a green tea, hojicha latte & took a matcha latte for takeout. The green tea & the hojicha was good but nothing exceptional. What stood out to me was definitely the delicious iced matcha latte. It was not bitter & had a unique flavour, more inclined on the leafy side than the sweet/nutty side of matcha that I've grown accustomed to. Although most of my cup was filled in ice, I enjoyed every sip. Can't recommend the matcha latte enough. The employees are very nice but I was not a big fan of the metal tables & metal bench aesthetic. I felt like I was back in school with the wobbly metallic tables lol. It's also a bit noisy in there, from the many students & the music. I wish I had tried their food but kitchen was not open on the day I visited. The prices are also very good, around 5$ per drink. Nice place for brunch. It was very crowded on the weekends. Luckily, the weather was nice outside & we stayed in the terrasse. They have one of the best coffee machines from Italy & the milk they use is whole fat milk. Perfect for a flat white & matcha latte. They know their stuffs. I'd suggest trying the karaage sando, but the tamago sando is quite overrated-it was pretty bland. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the matcha latte. The atmosphere was awesome, with R&B music adding a nice touch to the overall vibe.View more

Dark enough that's laptop friendly 💻 , bright enough that you get sky view from skylights ☀️ Ordered an iced matcha latte 🍵 to start the day fresh, wish it could be bitter but good enough. 4.5/5 I had katsu curry for lunch, the skin is a bit overcooked & feel heavy but the inside meat very juicy & tender. I was hoping more curry in the bowl. & the bowl has a chip at the edge that's actually dangerous for the hands. 4/5 Background music might be a bit loud in the morning, some rock music was playing, I guess they want it to feel more hippy. But it can get even louder when more people come in later in the afternoon. There's outdoor patio to sit but limited seats available. 2hr max wifi connection per user per day. Overall a good place to take a break or having a sprint work/study session. Very friendly staff. Will come back again to try out the sando. Total spending + tip: $27 Overall 5/5View more

This place is such a vibe for artistic/creative & hipster people. The decorations, the slight underground/cottage feel tucked away on a somewhat busy street. It's a total vibe. I came on a Thursday afternoon & they had the techno experimental music blasting. I ordered a chai latte with soy & decaf Americano...both were very good. The chai was somewhat local from New York & was well spiced & not so sugary which I like. They have some food options as well like sandwiches & vegan curry. Plenty of seating indoor & outdoor in their terrace & at some picnic tables. 2 hour limit on wifi to keep people from docking. Just such a great, aesthetically pleasing cafe! Only improvement would be for more attentive, patient service.View more

What's not to love? The tamago sando is a thing of beauty. The strawberry sandwiches are delicious (weekends only). The hojicha latte is zen in a cup. Yes, it's somewhat pricey, but much cheaper than a flight to Japan. My only complaint would be that the space has been taken over by the laptop crowd who sit, one to a table, taking much of the available space.View more

Je suis venue 2 fois &, à 2 reprises, j'ai eu de la difficulté à trouver une place convenable pour m'asseoir. Je précise également que la pièce est assez bruyante, ce qui peut déranger certaines personnes souhaitant se concentrer. Malgré cela, j'ai beaucoup aimé le latte hogicha ainsi que l'absence de frais supplémentaires pour les laits végétaux.
