Johnathan made our stay away from home feel special! He was a gracious host - nice personality & attentive. Relaxed & sophisticated atmosphere. The food was tasty too.

We stayed 3 nights at the Intercontinental Hotel August 3-6, 2024 & ordered room service 2 times during our stay. The first night we had burgers, fries & crème brûlée. The food was great & the delivery person was prompt & courteous. The second time was our last night there & I ordered the charcuterie plate thinking there would be cheese on it. When the room service gentleman, Jonathan, delivered the meal I realized my error & commented I thought there would be cheese. Jonathan went out of his way to correct my mistake & brought me a plate of cheese & fruit. I was blown away by his exceptional customer service & my meal was delicious. We will definitely be back!
The food is really good & the service amazing. The ambience is beautiful as well. As special for me is the noble attitude of the waiters. With regard to this the prices are a little higher, but it's all worthy. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone.
The least impressive restaurant in our whole trip. None of the dishes were properly done & left much to be desired. Very oily side dishes. Service was slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty.
We had lounge access during our stay, & the breakfast & dinner served were exceptional. We really enjoyed our time, especially when Jonathan was working. He was extremely attentive, he made great recommendations for where to go in the city & was very fun to be around.

This review is for the Club Lounge in the Intercontinental that is associated to the restaurant. The lounge is very nicely decorated. There were a generous amount & variety of drinks available during happy hour, a hot entree (the chicken & potatoes one evening were excellent) as well as vegetables, dip, salad, Sandwhiches & petit desserts. Breakfast was also delicious, after hours food was a bit lacking on some days though. On several occasions, the lounge was tended by Johnathon. His service was absolutely excellent, he was very efficient at keeping everything available & fresh, but was also incredibly personable & kind to everyone in the lounge. Also serving as a concierge helping with suggestions about Montreal, transportation & showing a real love & enthusiasm for Montreal & each guest. He is really a gem, the hotel is very lucky to have him.
We had an a la carte breakfast & what a mistake that was. Food was just OK, which is not what's expected at a restaurant like this. To be fair, it looked like the buffet would have been a much better choice but we didn't have it so I can't review it! Service was good.
First of all the ambience here is amazing. The food was perfectly prepared. The wine was exquisite. Ivan & René treated us like royalty. There service is one of the main reasons we will be coming back to Montreal.
Je suis en vacances au Québec depuis deux semaines & c'est l'endroit où j'ai pris le petit-déjeuner qui était à la fois le plus cher & le moins bon, le pire rapport qualité-prix de loin. On aurait dit un petit-déjeuner de cantine. Le matin il n'y a par ailleurs presque aucun choix au buffet, ce qui est vraiment aberrant au vu des prix. Par contre le personnel était assez sympathique.
A wonderful place to eat. Our servers Anthony & Robin were excellent. Great food that cost less than it should cost. If I lived in Montreal this would be a go to spot.

Of all the places I ate in Montreal, this was one of the best & most memorable. The service was outstanding. The hotel wasn't much to speak of, but this place was. The salmon pasta was the best I've ever had anywhere, & I am a pescatarian.
This was one of the best (All included) breakfasts we have had. Servers were right there whenever you needed anything; refreshed coffees, cleared dishes, & checked on us. Also very cheerful & friendly. This is all in addition to the buffet, including a perfect combination items suck as fruits, croissants, eggs, sausage, potatoes, & crepes !!! it was all delicious
