Best value to price food near JGH. The size of onigiri is enough to fill you up. Flavours are definitely more skewed to Canadian palate, with some more'traditional' Japanese leaning choices. But definitelt gets the onigiri craving satisfied, & I'm glad we have a place like this in the neighborhood! I would make this my go to if I lived or worked in the area for satisfying quick bites.

Also, the post it'graffiti' on the wall is such a nice reflection of our city's diversity.

Loved their Mount Fuji onigiri du chef, strongly recommended. Raw tuna/salmon onigiri & ramen were also good. Miso soup was flavorful. The food was made quickly, everything was well presented. A great place for a quick Japanese bite.

Have been told by the owner of Onigiri Old Montreal to try their friend store since its closer to my house. & to my surprise service was quick & food was delicious. Probably the best grab & go restaurant in the area. Highly recommend to try their Japanese egg yolk & Fresh Salmon

Discovered this place by chance while looking for a quick lunch while my dad is in the Jewish Hospital. Was shocked at how good everything was. My son'inhaled' the unagi onigiri in less than a minute & had to buy him another one. Service was quick & efficient. Everything was delicious. The price is very fair for the size of the onigiri & each was well filled with the ingredients. Expect to get at least 2 per person. We were there around 1:30pm, so probably after the lunch rush.

Would definitely go back the next time I'm in the area.

Onigiri Shop in Côte-des-Neiges is a gem for fresh, handmade onigiri. Their miso-infused options, especially the Miso Minced Beef onigiri, are a must-try-savory, rich, & perfectly balanced with warm, tender rice. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors well-seasoned, & the staff is friendly. Though seating is limited, the cozy atmosphere makes it a great stop for a quick, delicious meal. Highly recommended!
