Really was not impressed, ordered over 100$ & every dish was all rice & peas in all 2 out of 3 slots with a little meat covering the 3rd small slot & it was soooo bland... I'm shocked after seeing all these reviews... I was so excited & it was dissapointing...the only thing good was the rotis but the stew chicken, curry chicken, curry goat & oxtail... was so bland...
I love the food here. Their jerk chicken & fries are my go to order.
I love this spot.Great barbecue chicken & the sauce is even better
I always get the oxtail/barbecue chicken plate with rice & peas. Its the best Jamaican spot on the island.
This was our first time trying Onestop caribbean cusine & definitely not our last. Carl was super helpful when we asked him about catering. He was able to make us some delicious jerk chicken, oxtail, & plantains on a short notice. We really appreciated his effort & his cuisine. We definitely will be going back to try out some other items on their menu. We will always cater from them. They won our hearts & bellies.
We ordered take out at this place last week. The oxtail + chicken dish was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection & the customer service was excellent.
The best Caribbean food I've had in Montreal since moving here from Toronto, I ordered on Ubereats for delivery all the way in Verdun & the food arrived hot & fresh. We had the ackee + saltfish & callaloo + saltfish, both dishes were outstanding & the portions are very generous. We tried the fried chicken as well & loved it, very lightly breaded & seasoned to perfection. Their menu has all of the Jamaican staples that the other spots in Montreal are missing. Sea moss & black cake were also 10/10. This will be our new go-to spot!
I stumbled upon this place, & decided to give it a try. I love Jamaican / Caribbean cuisine & have eaten it all my life. The food is let's say just okay. Stew Chicken portions are very small two really tiny pieces of chicken for the lunch menu. We tried curry goat which was good, but again small portion size for the price. Curry Chicken plate again very small size & lots of bones. Plantain was not at all what im used to eating.
Unfortunately I cant give ONE STOP a good rating because the price paid was really high for what you get. Please note I took the Lunch menu...but lunch menu at other places still offer a better portion size & extras in the plate.
The owner seems like a very nice gentleman, but the portion size & lack of extras didnt leave a positive feeling.
My go to spot for oxtail & bbq fried chicken. They are consistently good & always on time.
So I ordered from uber & the food is so amazing like I swear but it's do dry there's no sauce/gravy like even the chicken doesn't give the rice some sauce. Seeing as how I hate to eat & drink it's really off putting but as I said the food Is tasty & very well presented portions are great as well thank you
They made it right! Snapper was fried to perfection. & I absolutely love the bbq fried chicken! 10/10 highly recommended.
I ordered from uber. Curry chicken plate was juicy & yum, I love your rice it was cooked perfect. Jerk chicken plate was also delicious the seasoning is flavorful & chicken still surprisingly juicy . I like that the chicken isn't spicy cuz the hotsauce was perfect to compliment it ! Thank you : )
We ordered in after seeing this restaurant for many years driving by frequently. Because parking was an issue, we stuck to the other Jamaican restaurants in the area. We are so happy we finally tried this place. Everything we had ordered was fantastic. We had soup, jerk chicken, brown chicken, rice & peas, Aki & salt fish, & plantain. It was all delicious, & we were pleasantly surprised with the flavor of rice & peas, which we usually consider as a filler outside of Jamaica. Both chickens were flavorful & very moist. I found the portions a little bit small, but we are seeing smaller portions everywhere in the last few years. The smaller portion size was an acceptable compromise for the taste & quality of this food. We will definitely be going back.
