Ok this really pains me cause this is one of my favorite restaurants. But over the years, their portions have gotten incredibly small for take out, & the meat very dry. I was still hungry after a full plate meal & that was pretty unusual. Half the plate was quite literally the garlic sauce & hummus, & the other half was salad/rice/meat squeezed into the container. Maybe the container they use needs to be revisited, cause with the circle aluminum ones, I always felt satisfied & (so sorry to say this) not ripped off.Voir plus

Overall, I've enjoyed the food very much in Montreal. This meal was really what I was craving. Both the chicken & beef were perfect to me, just the right texture, seasoning, & juiciness. The spicy garlic sauce makes a great compliment to both meats. The fattouche salad was a perfect tangy contrast to the savory & spicy of everything else. The lentil rice was good, with more than a hint of fennel. The hummus definitely tasted house made fresh & yummy, the only negative for me is a personal taste: one of the two hummus flavors had a chipotle taste.. I do not enjoy chipotle at all. I had to add a second picture once I discovered the little nest of pickled cabbage hidden on my plate.. it has such a vibrant color & such a unique flavor: a salty, vinegary tang that was such a good contrast to everything else on the plate. Je n'ai jamais essayé la succursale de St Laurent, mais j'ai essayé celle de St Denis & j'ai beaucoup aimé la nourriture chez Omnivon. Cependant, dans ce commentaire, je ne mentionnerai pas la nourriture ou le service, mais je le mentionnerai du point de vue d'un livreur. Je suis allé chercher une commande à St Laurent pour livraison & j'ai été vraiment déçu de l'attitude du caissier la bas (il est le manager ou le propriétaire je crois). Il m'a traité de manière condescendante, comme s'il était mon supérieur, & cela m'a fait manquer de respect & surtout ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai rencontré cette situation chez Omnivon St Laurent. En effet, j'aurais dû vous donner 1 star, mais heureusement vos employés étaient très gentils avec moi lorsque j'étais là pour ramasser une commande à livrer, alors j'ai donné 3 stars au restaurant. Offrez-les à vos employés! J'écris cet avis non pas pour le but de discréditer le restaurant, mais pour le faire connaître & l'améliorer, ainsi que pour avertir les autres livreurs de cet incident. Sandwiches were decent, salads were mediocre & the babaganoush was very good. However, our entire was messed up. We got home to find that the potatoes for one of our combos was missing. It wasn't worth the effort to go back. Very disappointing. In addition, our sandwiches were labeled wrong so we started to eat each other's & then noticed they weren't right.Voir plus

Not too impressed specially after being recommended from my friend & a high google review. It wasn't much busy, the cooling inside the resto is weak, so we were feeling hot all the time . Service is average , they forgot our drink - presentation is average. Appetizer were good though.Forget to take pictures only few. I believe that their sandwiches are good, had 2. One was good & the other samak was not tasty at all, you couldn't taste the fish. The main dish portion size was good , however thr taste has to be improved. I found it on the expensive side for thr dishes we ate. I loved the wine leaves & the batata harra- thr kafta was good but not wowVoir plus

Really nice restaurant with generous portions. We were great by a very kind server. We had the omnivore plate which has a great mix of everything & the sandwich combo. The hommos was very good & the fatoush was in my opinion the best!!!! Thank you for a great meal!Voir plus

Tasty food, with quality ingredients. A bit expensive for what it is, but worth it. The omnivore plate is pretty filling. If you take the sandwich only, you might want to add a side. If not, you can choose two sandwiches if you have a big appetite (I could only eat 1.5). Tried the beirut & inca - beirut was good, on the drier side while the inca was on the sweeter side.
