I recently dined at a Lebanese restaurant & had the pleasure of trying the Omnivore dish, which included both chicken & beef. The flavors were rich & authentic, perfectly complemented by the fresh fattouche salad, flavorful lentil rice, & smooth hummus. The homemade lemonade was absolutely superb-refreshing & tangy, it was the perfect companion to the meal. I also enjoyed a strong, aromatic black coffee to finish, which rounded off the experience beautifully. The combination of delicious food & quality drinks made this a memorable meal. I love Omnivore it's some where I always take people when they are visiting Montreal. This is the first time I have been to the Saint Denis location & it's just as delicious as their old location on Saint Laurent. I always get the omnivore plate. After visiting Omnivore's sister site elsewhere in Montreal, we were impressed with the quality & standard of the sandwiches, so decided to head to their St Denis location to try more of their menu. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed. Waiting staff seemed to forget about our presence & we had to ask twice if we could order, service was non existent. Eventually, after a 50 minute wait, our food was sent through to the kitchen, where we then had to wait another 30 minutes. The sandwich we ordered was supposed to be a combination of meat & vegetable however there was a complete lack of vegetables. Not to mention, the potatoes we ordered should have been accompanied with a garlic sauce which was also left behind - we had to put in a request to ensure this made it to our table. Overall, we weren't satisfied with our meal out which is a great disappointment as you have all the key components to run a successful venue.Voir plus
