Ordered a beef sandwich & a shish taouk plate. The beef was very good while the chicken plate, not so much. It was dry, tough & under seasoned. Too bad, the beef tasted just like the one you get in the Plateau so I was expecting the same for the chicken..but for some reason, they didn't season it very well.Voir plus

Always a warm welcome & smiles from all staff; servers, cooks & kitchen staff. Joyful & pleasant decor, lots of REAL plants...tastefully decorated during holidays, but not overly so. Don't feel rushed to leave whenever is over, ok to linger, whether alone or in a group (had a small group gathering of ladies in our 50s in the winter & we appreciated being able to actually hear one another speaking unlike many other restaurants where to noise level, music or acoustics of location make it difficult to have conversations). Some of us are of mixed Lebanese origins so we really appreciated the homemade Lebanese & fusion dishes. My personal favorites are the samac (fish) sandwich & the Thai fusion (chicken instead of beef) sandwichwith peanut sauce. Love the homemade lemonade with hint of mint.Voir plus

No negatives with our experience here! The place has a cozy plant ambiance with jazz music. Lots of nice decorations, mosaic tables & spacious seating. The food was very good, big portions & lots of drink options. The waiter (owner I believe?) was very welcoming & helpful with ordering for a 2 year old. There were two servers on Saturday night that went above & beyond. They took their time to explain the menu & made the whole experience delightful. We eat a lot of Lebanese food but often Montreal is reduced to fast food type places. Omnivore really takes it up a notch (the cauliflower salad is absolutely fabulous). Yesterday night I had supper with my bestfriends at this homemade Lebanese restaurant & was very impressed! The cleanliness standards were exceptional. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely, but I have to take 3 stars off because the staff doesn't understand the importance of allergies. I told the server I couldn't have dairy & asked what on the menu were safe options. They said some dishes contained mayo (mayo does not contain dairy 😑) & when I suggested the salad & chicken wrap she said those were fine. Cut to several hours later & I've been dealing with the consequences of an allergic reaction... Maybe the chicken was marinated in milk/yogurt? I would have much preferred the server say that they don't know, or ask the chef, instead of having to spend a sleepless night. It's luckily not an anaphylactic allergy, so I was willing to risk it despite the sketchy answers from the server, but I can't recommend this place to anyone with dietary restrictions.
