We had one of the best meals we have had in Montreal. The grilled calamari was done to perfection, the garlic bread with tomato & Manchego cheese was fantastic. The staff was amazing, the decor is perfect & the music helps transports you to Spain. We were able to talk with the chef & you can see how passionate he is to serve fantastic authentic Spanish tapas & dishes. Trust me you will have a fantastic meal here. We are already think of when we can go back. Oh by the way, be sure to order the Ole Sangria, it is simply the best one I have ever had.View more

I've been to Spain three times (including the last time when I proposed to my now wife) so I have a good reference. I've been to Ole several time now & it's always a great night out. My most recent time was in September 2024. The calamari was probably the best cook I've ever had (they melted like butter!). The food & service is always great & would highly recommend. The only thing they're missing from a tapas bar in Spain is smaller portion tapas you can select from a display.View more

Amazing experience with my family at Ole. The staff was incredible, very welcoming as soon as we walked in the door . We had questions about the menu & chef nico came & explained everything perfectly. The portions & flavours were incredible & very authentic ( we have been to Spain ) . Definitely would recommend & will be back soon.View more
Not impressed, shrimps not too good & don't taste the garlic but are full of paprika. Seems like the garlic mushrooms are canned mushrooms, I wouldn't feed my dog those mushrooms. He took them back without deducting them from the bill... Octopuses is given whole without a good knife to cut it, when I asked for a smooth knife to not destroy the octopus he said they only have steak knives. I asked him to ask the chef to cut the octopus in smaller pieces half & inch, he came back saying that the chef didn't want. He only cut them in three pieces, that really pissed me off especially that the bill cost me around 190$. I went to see the owner with the plate, they brought me back another one but it was cut 1 inch thick with no taste. Everything was bad, it's a shame considering this place a Spanish Tapas restaurant. Atmosphere, I heard all kind of musique except for Spanish music from Spain. Way to go for the atmosphere. First & last time in this restaurant.View more

**Overall, we loved it:** We had a great Sunday lunch with the family. The service was excellent & quick, just what you'd expect from a good Taberna. The head chef is very engaged & takes the time to greet guests at the door, adding a personal touch to the experience. The seafood tapas (shrimps, fried calamari, marinated anchovies) were perfectly cooked & well balanced. The shrimp were fresh & tender, & the calamari were well-seasoned, crispy, & not greasy-some of the best I've tried in all of Montreal. The Bacalao croquetas were spot on & comparable to what you'd be served in Spain. We liked them so much that we re-ordered. The cheese platter, though a bit pricey, was really good & would make a great starter along with their Sangria. The tortilla de patatas was average; I think there's room for improvement here. The bottom was burnt, & the texture was dry & crumbly-overcooked. The pan con tomate was disappointing. The bread didn't stand out (it felt store-bought), & the tomatoes weren't fresh & tasted as if they were mixed with spices or condiments. It's a simple tapa that should have been executed better. Unfortunately, the grilled chicken skewers were not up to par. I wouldn't recommend them. They were dry, lacked seasoning, & didn't taste fresh or made to order.View more

Food is delicious. If you're from Spain, you'll be taken back with the boquerones. The meatballs (albondigas) are also delicious. Great service & location. I highly recommend it as a lunch spot before going to a family activity nearby.View more

Excellent , I was a little sceptical as I am from Spain but it was truly authentic. The tapas were quite large & we had alot to bring home. The waitress was absolutely wonderful & provided amazing service.
The only negative for me is that as I do not drink wine or alcohol they do not serve soft drinks, only Perrier lemon or orange ( which I don't like ) but for the majority of people there is an extensive wine list. We just drank water. But the food truly food from Spain.
Just had an amazing lunch at Olé Tapas in Ste Anne de Bellevue... not only is the location ideal ... located on the boardwalk facing the water with a beautiful terrace reminiscent of the ones in Spain. The food is totally authentic & extremely delicious. The service is friendly, courteous & fast. The owners are on site & are so welcoming & always greet you with a smile. Definitely my go to place !!!
via LibroWe thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the terrace at Olé Tapas, from the olives, through the delicious squid, fritters, white anchovies & amazing barbecued shrimp, to the sparkling Cava. Everything was super fresh & just like the tapas we have had on the coast of Spain. We will be back several times this summer. It really. Is a treat.

Whether inside or on the terrasse, one can enjoy a little slice of Spain in safety, as all current COVID-19-related requirements are respected to the letter. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you haven't tried it yet, it's a must. & if you have, then you're probably like me: a repeat customer! The Vega family who owns the restaurant is amazing, they all work there & they work hard to make it the success is it. If I could give it six or seven stars - or even more - I would!

What a treat to find this gem in Sainte Anne de Bellevue.
My wife & I have had the pleasure of enjoying Spanish cuisine in Spain. & have been disappointed in some Spanish restaurants. But Olé was a great surprise. Paco & his daughter Jasmin have brought the authentic taste from Spain to Canada !!!
The Pata Negra was astounding! Authentic Croquetas! & the Pulpo made me feel like we were back in Galicia. My greatest surprise was the "Pimientos Padrones" we never expected to be enjoying them outside of Spain.
Kudos & thank you Paco & Jasmin & to everyone that makes Olé the wonderful place it is!!!

via LibroSmall, cute & clean eatery with basic chairs & tables - but there is nothing basic about this delightful Spanish restaurant. It was the first time for all four of us, & after viewing the long menu, we asked for some guidance. They happily accepted & brought out a delicious selection of tapas. The flavours were so fresh & we loved everything they served. The sangria was incredible - don't think I'll be able to order it anywhere else again ... unless I go to Spain! The service was friendly, professional & patient. We had such an enjoyable lunch & plan to return in the near future. Reservations are probably a good idea as they get busy.
