We had one of the best meals we have had in Montreal. The grilled calamari was done to perfection, the garlic bread with tomato & Manchego cheese was fantastic. The staff was amazing, the decor is perfect & the music helps transports you to Spain. We were able to talk with the chef & you can see how passionate he is to serve fantastic authentic Spanish tapas & dishes. Trust me you will have a fantastic meal here. We are already think of when we can go back. Oh by the way, be sure to order the Ole Sangria, it is simply the best one I have ever had.View more
I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Spanish restaurant & was blown away by both the food & the service. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, & the chef himself came by to greet us, which added a personal & authentic touch to the evening.
The paella was outstanding-perfectly cooked with rich, layered flavors. The patatas bravas were crispy on the outside, soft inside, & paired beautifully with a spicy aioli. The fried calamari were golden, tender, & not at all greasy-just the way they should be.
Every dish felt like a celebration of Spanish cuisine, & the attentive service made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back!View more

What a treat! We were hoping to find good Spanish tapas ended up enjoying a wonderful meal right next to a live band. Being a client of OLE TAPAS for the first time, it was an amazing experience. You will find the best Spanish food restaurant in the city of Montreal, more specifically at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Ole Tapas has a variety of food. Every dish is more delicious than the other. Foods like; patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, & croquetas & the top most in all is the paella. Very recommendable this restaurant! We had an amazing celebrations here last night with friends & last month with family. The Food is always delicious, we love the ambiance whether it's inside or outside. Not to mention the accommodating staff (from the waiters to the bartender) very courteous & friendly! 🙏 Also, Mr Chef surprised us with their very delicious cake! Not impressed, shrimps not too good & don't taste the garlic but are full of paprika. Seems like the garlic mushrooms are canned mushrooms, I wouldn't feed my dog those mushrooms. He took them back without deducting them from the bill... Octopuses is given whole without a good knife to cut it, when I asked for a smooth knife to not destroy the octopus he said they only have steak knives. I asked him to ask the chef to cut the octopus in smaller pieces half & inch, he came back saying that the chef didn't want. He only cut them in three pieces, that really pissed me off especially that the bill cost me around 190$. I went to see the owner with the plate, they brought me back another one but it was cut 1 inch thick with no taste. Everything was bad, it's a shame considering this place a Spanish Tapas restaurant. Atmosphere, I heard all kind of musique except for Spanish music from Spain. Way to go for the atmosphere. First & last time in this restaurant.View more

We stop at Ole Tapas a few times in the beautiful summer days. The terrace is very spacious with great view of the water marina buzz. The service always is impeccable. We tried several of the Spanish tapas specialties & we find them all being served with a nice presentation, very typically "Catalan" style. Everything we taste has been carefully prepared by chef Nikola. The shrimp, octopus & calamari, anyway you order them they are delicious. The "Papas Brava" is another staple we order. They have a nice short but well chosen selection of Spanish wines. We were last there in July 12th 2024 with friends & definitely planning to come back soon with more friends. Olé!
The last time we were at Ole Tapas was about 2-3 years ago. Don't get me wrong, the food was ok, but not as good as the last time. Not too many patrons in the restaurant. Maybe it's because the menu was more professional, but I really think that food just isn't as good. Ordered the red wine sangria, but it lacked fruit, only 2 slices of oranges & wasn't strong at all. Also, for a Spanish Tapas restaurant, they didn't even have grilled sardines. We mentioned this to the waitress, but no body asked us why. I don't think we will go back.View more

Les portions sont généreuses & délicieuses, mais avons étés surprise que les Albondigas sont servies comme de simples boulettes de viande avec une sauce sucrée. Dans beaucoup de pays c’est une soupe & non la façon dont c’est servi ici.
Raison pourquoi je ne donne pas 5 étoiles pour la cuisine : Pas de menu pour enfants. Donc, consultez le menu avant d’y aller & regardez si votre enfant mangerais un des choix à la carte sinon ils vont se limiter à du pain & de l’eau comme nos petits-enfants.
Ambiance: Ne me souviens pas s’il y avait de la musique espagnole comme ambiance mais à un moment donné le volume est monté subitement en plein milieu de l’après-midi!!! également, à un moment donné un/une des employées hurlait à l’intérieur, pour quelle raison on ne sait pas.

This Spanish restaurant was recommended to us by family.
The portions are generous & delicious, but we were surprised that the Albondigas are served as simple meatballs with a sweet sauce. In many countries it is a soup & not the way it is served here.
Reason why I don't give 5 stars for the cuisine: No children's menu. So, check the menu before going there & see if your child would eat one of the à la carte choices otherwise they will be limited to bread & water like our grandchildren.
Ambiance: Can't remember if there was Spanish music playing in the background but at some point the volume suddenly increased in the middle of the afternoon!!! also, at some point one of the employees was screaming inside, for what reason it is not known.View more
