We visited this restaurant based on their daily special advertised at $19 per plate. Before ordering, we explicitly asked what the dish included. They told us it was grilled chicken served with rice, potatoes, & some mild spices. Trusting their description, we ordered three portions. When we sat down, we noticed the table was covered in dust, the glasses were extremely dirty & dusty, & the forks & spoons were completely filthy. First, they brought us six small dumplings with a terribly sweet & awful sauce. Then came the main course, & it was a complete disaster. The rice was undercooked, mushy, & completely tasteless. There was barely any chicken in it-literally less than 50 grams of meat shared across all three plates! It was so unappetizing that none of us could eat it; we just moved the food around with our spoons. When we brought this up to the owner, instead of apologizing, they were extremely defensive & dismissive, claiming that'people come here every year & love it.' After a long & frustrating argument, the absolute best they could do was offer a meager 20% discount. We paid & left, completely unsatisfied & starved. Terrible food, awful service, dusty & dirty environment, & zero respect for customers. I highly recommend staying away from this tourist trap. Do not waste your money here!**
We took for take out. The Pho soup broth had no taste, the broth was lukewarm not hot enough to partially cook the beef. It was more of a blood soup that tasted nothing. We ended up using the chicken ramen broth & transfered the noodle & beef in it so that my wife could eat something
The chicken ramen was good. Very expensive for the food quality
The food was delicious (chicken pad thai), but the service is what made it for me. My daughter left her sweatshirt, & our server overheard us talking about getting ice... he tracked us down at the ice cream shop to return the sweatshirt. A+ service!
Deserves better than 3 stars. Food has flavour, pad thai was very good as well as the general Tao chicken. Service was good also.
Extremely disappointing takeout experience. The pho was poorly prepared, with the noodles already mixed into the soup, making them completely soggy. By the time I got home, there was barely any broth left. The other dishes were not tasty, the fried rice was soggy, & the Tom Yum soup was very disappointing & tasteless. I was also told they only had beef pho available, even though chicken was clearly on the menu. Service was poor. Overall, the food quality & service were unacceptable, & I would not return or recommend this place.
While walking around looking for a good spot.
We barely noticed this place due to lighting inside it was dim & we assumed it was closed.
Until the server passe by the window & we decided to check & see..
Cozy little place...
The price was high... mind you location & touristic area...
The general tao was sweet & nice. My only down side was the type of rice that was given with it...
The Ramen we ordered beef & got chicken.
It was good.
Six of us had dinner here on June 20 with high hopes of tasty meals. We were mostly disappointed at the poor quality & high prices. We ordered a red curry & green curry (chicken). The green curry came out with beef instead of chicken, & both curries were WAY too sweet, not at all authentic Thai. The beef ramen was twice as expensive as in Toronto & tasted like cheap ramen noodles. Beef was not tender & egg tasted odd. The salmon poke bowl wasn't too bad. Chow mein & pad Thai were acceptable. I guess we shouldn't expect authentic Asian flavors in a small resort town.
Food tastes great!!! The chicken fried rice has the nice charred flavour (chefs kiss) . The chow mein & general tao chicken is amazing too! 😋🤤
We loved the food! The Pokè bowl, chicken satay, & General Tao were all delicious. Unfortunately, one server yelled at our friends for not understanding the credit card terminal (they don't speak French). This really put a damper on our evening. Hoping for better staff training in the future.
We ordered the wonton soup, wagyu dumplings, ramen & general tao chicken. I'd say the food was awesome, if we weren't starving I'd give the food a 0. The bill was about $140, was not worth it. Please stay away if possible, it's almost like the food was purchased frozen from Walmart. It was bland & had very little flavour.
