I was walking by when I came across this cute pastry shop, & it was packed with people both inside & outside. It looked so French & charming, so of course, I had to pop in & try their famous Suisse! I grabbed one, sat outside, & enjoyed my treat while soaking up the sunshine. Oh God, I love this street! 😍& on my way out, I couldn't resist ordering another one to take back to Vancouver for my partner. If you're into something chocolatey, definitely give the Suisse a try! 🤤

Great presentation. I liked that it wasn't too sweet & the base wasn't too thick, so it didn't feel heavy - the texture of the custard around it was really well done. It felt homemade & fresh. 93/100 compared to other flans I've had.

My favorite baguette & pecan cookie. I pass by 4 other bakeries in the neighborhood that are closer to my house. Their baguette is not only tasteful & crispy, they keep well for 2 days wrapped in a dishtowel. Others either become chewy or like baseball bats. & their pecan cookie is the chewiest & flavorfullest & I don't even like pecans.
