About

Ô Petit Paris specializes in the traditional artistry of authentic French baking and pastry production. Skilled artisans craft crusty baguettes, flaky croissants, and delicate pain au chocolat using classic fermentation techniques and high quality butter. The display cases feature a rotating selection of seasonal fruit tarts, rich eclairs, and intricately layered mille-feuilles that reflect standard European patisserie conventions. Patrons observe the meticulous assembly of individual confections through open workspace designs that emphasize raw ingredient transparency. The inventory maintains a consistent focus on fundamental dough development and precise temperature control for optimal crumb structure. Each item serves as a testament to established baking methods that prioritize texture and balanced sweetness over excessive decoration. This establishment functions as a primary source for daily staples and specialized dessert components within its active culinary environment.

Excellent bakery/pastry shop. The selection of pastries & cakes is vast. The quantity of products offered is excellent. They also offer a selection of sandwiches. You can also order a coffee to your liking (different types of milk are available). You can eat in. In the summer, there's a terrace. The staff is friendly & efficient. I highly recommend Ô Petit Paris. Excellent value for money.

We loved this bakery! We were in the area & I've had it saved to try, so glad I was finally able to. The croissants & flan we had were absolutely delicious. It was difficult to choose which dessert to get as they all looked incredible. The almond croissant was fresh, flavourful, light & perfectly flaky. We also took some baguettes to go & wow, they are excellent as well. The service was nice & quick. We will definitely return.

I stop by this bakery almost every week to get a croissant. They're the best in town! Very friendly staff.

Such a lovely bakery on Mont-Royal Avenue! The variety of pastries is impressive & makes choosing a challenge :)
The service is very friendly. I tried the famous croissant, pecan cookie, & Cherie roll - everything was absolutely delicious, with a perfectly balanced level of sweetness. I'll definitely be back to try more (& the bread!)

Oh I wish this place existed in Toronto. A croissant from a reputable bakery back home will run you $4.95+, here it's only $2.95 for a plain butter croissant & only $3.95 for a Kouign Amann. Everything was delicious & the staff are super friendly. There was a lineup out the door on a Monday mid morning & I definitely saw a healthy number of baguettes go out the door. They have a selection of pastries, desserts & bread. Def adding to my list of must visits for my future visits!

I am overjoyed to finally have a bakery in the hood with a great quality & collection of breads & pastries. The choices you encounter from the very front door are just pure pleasant which is why we love bakeries! The prices are a bit too heavy, & the staff can certainly be much nicer than so defensive & cold... but overall, it's a great bakery :)

After arriving in Montreal, a local recommended Au Petit Paris for authentic Parisian pastries. Located on Mont-Royal Avenue, a vibrant pedestrian street full of cafes & restaurants, the bakery immediately impresses with its elegant interior & beautifully displayed, refined pastries.

The staff behind the counter were friendly, welcoming, & attentive, answering questions about the ingredients. They offer a wide variety of items, including cannelli, kouign-amann, fruit tarts, & cruffins. I tried a passion fruit cruffin ($4.00 CAD), kouign-amann ($4.30 CAD), & a Chocolate Noisette (~$4.00 CAD).

The Chocolate Noisette was excellent-crispy outside & soft, flavorful inside. The passion fruit cruffin was also very good, with a subtle fruit flavor & a tender texture. The kouign-amann, however, wasn't my favorite; it was too crispy & crunchy throughout, but lacked softness inside, & I prefer the ones at Kouign-Amann Bakery right down the avenue.

There are a few small tables inside, & on the day I visited, it wasn't crowded. There's also a restroom for customers. Overall, the staff are friendly, the pastries are elegant & refined, & I enjoyed my visit. I would definitely return & recommend this bakery.

A good bakery where you can sit to enjoy the delicious pastries.
I really liked the lemon meringue pie, that's the closest to what you can taste in France (although the white chocolate on the top is not adding anything to the experience).
With each pastry, you can see different cooking techniques used to create each recipe.
The taste is good & the balance is here, but for me it sometimes lacked something to have an explosion of flavor.
I would definitely go back though since I only tried 3 pastries & there is a nice choice there :).
Go & enjoy it ;)
