Worst service I've ever experienced, the waiter was extremely disrespectful & food was absolutely awful. We didn't tip because we weren't looked after well & food quality was bad, & because we didn't tip the waiter talked to us & said'around here everyone tips so you should watch out when you don't'.
Great food, you can go vegetarian, having something more classic, i.e. boudin sausage, or do a burger, or, in my case, a poutine. Nyks also has a great choice of beer on tap, with en emphasis on local brews. Service is quite excellent, even when the place is packed, which is at lunchtime (they do reservations) & for dinner.
Un lieu très fréquenté voir même une institution. Ambiance tamisé avec un excellent service & accueil. J'ai osé prendre les pâtes parpadelles aux champignons. Je n'avais aucune attente & ce fût une révélation. Tu sais, le genre de plat pour lequel tu retournerais pour retrouver ce goût. Une dose généreuse de champignon avec une huile style truffe & onctueuse qui parfume le plat & des copeaux de parmesan. En plus d'une portion généreuse. Un gros gros coup de coeur. J'ai terminé avec le dessert mi-cuit au chocolat servi avec une boule de crème glacée. Petite portion maîs excellente. Ça prend un moment pour le recevoir mais c'est normal, il arrive tout chaud & toutdroit sorti du four. J'y retournerai assurément
J'ai pris le tartare de boeuf en repas qui inclut une salade. J'ai retrouvé un insecte dans celle-ci, & non seulement j'ai dû payer toute ma facture, mais en plus, je n'ai même pas eu droit a des excuses !!!
Good atmosphere, good energy & good food. The staff were working hard & moving quickly but I felt that they were a bit understaffed as it was difficult at times to get the attention of my server. I would still recommend & return though.
Tellement une belle découverte! Le staff est attentionné, la bouffe est vraiment bonne & la bière excellente. Deux jours de suite pour nous! On le recommande chaudement :)

Great food & an excellent menu. The beef tartare was excellent, accompanied by a perfectly seasoned salad & fries. Really easy to talk to people round the bar & the staff. Has a new york vibe about it. I d strongly recommend.

We had a reservation but were turned away as we didn't have id for our 18 year old daughter & were never asked beforehand. Maybe they should state this on the website beforehand. Very disappointing!
