There was no menu & we waited over 5 minutes for some of the notice we were there. Yet there was only one other diner. Eventually a middle-aged Chinese gentleman did service & was responsive. The food was okay & we will probably go there again sometime.
One of my favourite chinese spot in Montréal. Always good vibes & great food. Nouilles star!!
This is a good restaurant to eat if you're craving chinese food. The service & employees was great & the portions are more than enough. Service was fast. Im a student & price wise, it's not too expensive.
This place has existed as far back as I can remember & hasn't changed at all, its previous name was Soup & Noodles. It is Chinese-Canadian comfort food of the highest order. Prices have gone up but still extremely reasonable compared to other joints, especially considering the massive portions. All the classics are there, standouts are anything with Peanut sauce & the fresh veggies.
Hot & sour soup is always delicious!🔥 General Tao chicken is excellent too! 👌🏼Chinese broccoli with mushrooms & garlic 😋.... So many dishes to try!
😋😋😋😋😋
Great late night eats!
Was searching for restaurants open late & this popped up.
Super tasty & flavourful! What you would expect from your typical local Chinese restaurant but it exceeded my expectations surprisingly. They're generous on their portions too (huge bonus)!
Service was top notch. The gentleman serving was so friendly & had a warm attitude even towards the end of his long day shift.
The vibe is like what you'd get from a typical hole in the wall place, super clean & simple decor.
Overall enjoyed the food & service, would 100% recommend & come back again!
im cantonese/chinese & i came with my non-asian partner for the first time to try this restaurant. we ordered two appetizers: (1) the crispy spinach (i had no idea what this was & curious to try it because he loves it), & (2) peanut butter wontons (again, not my thing & something i wouldn't order but he loved it). i had the beef chow fun & added broccoli (+$3) for veggies. i found that nouilles star was nice in that, it catered to both our palettes -- mine being more traditional chinese, & his being more westernized. the service was SUPER fast - all our dishes came out in 5 minutes, with generous portions. we finished the appetizers & went home with leftovers of the noodles. our total with tax + tips came to $39. definitely a spot to come to if you're looking for quick, tasty chinese food. although it's staffed by cantonese chinese folks, it's definitely more westernized than others. great spot for groups & families to share lots of dishes 🍜
Okay for Chinese food if you are a tourist but not the real thing.
The best, most amazing, cheap, tasty, & enjoyable chinese take-out. If you need a place to feed 3 hungry male teenagers on a budget, this is the place to go.
I used to grab the general tao from that place well over 13 years ago & it used to be one of my favorite Chinese eateries. 13 years later & the food is still amazing! Seems like this restaurant has paused time & prices (general tao for $13) & kept the great quality in the food & service. I was there yesterday & tried the general Tao (of course), some veggies spring rolls & beef & broccoli. Everything, & I mean everything was made fresh, tasted amazing & was just spicy enough. If you haven't tried this gem yet, you're missing out. Will I go back? 100% yes!
Stayed at a b & b nearby & ate here twice in one weekend. The sweetest staff, best food & at such a good price point. Make sure to try the Chinese broccoli! 🥦
Hands down easily the Best Asian eatery in the Guy Concordia area. Tasty dishes, very generous servings & no crazy pricing like other newly opened Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. The service is also quick & good. This place is famous for their general tao & the beef on hot plate is also fabulous; the crispy noodles is the stuff that dreams are made of with thick gooey gravy & succulent shrimp & meat slices. The peanut butter dumplings are also very good. Portions are very generous so you'll surely leave with a doggy pack.
BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT in MTL !!! The quantity they provide for the price is amazing & the taste is really good too. 😎 10/10
Chinese fast food at an affordable price. Last time I used to eat there was in 1996. Still nothing has changed except the actual plates used to serve food 😂
