Norah Café de l'Anse is a charming lakefront spot with a cozy, rustic vibe and a relaxing atmosphere, praised for solid coffee, tasty pastries, and inventive grilled cheese sandwiches, with standout items like a pumpkin spice latte made with real pumpkin and a fresh, well-balanced quinoa bowl. Its waterfront setting and option to sit outdoors create a popular, family and dog friendly retreat that feels like a countryside escape. On busy weekends, guests report long lines, wait times, and occasional service slowdowns, along with parking challenges and limited gluten-free options, but the overall vibe, views, and quality keep it a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
Cute cafe with lovely views however the service was quite slow, I was one of the first customers & an iced coffee took over 30 minutes while plenty of people who'd come after me had been served. If you don't mind a long wait, it's a nice spot & the pastries are good.
I've been recommended by some people to try this cafe & finally have a chance to visit this cafe to see. This cafe is amazing & so beautiful with a beautiful view. The atmosphere is relaxing & feels like home. The outdoor is also very good with the river view & the Oka area & hill. Almost all of their ingredients are local sources & their foods & coffee are all home made. Their pumpkin spice latte is amazing! They use real pumpkin with cinnamon & nutmeg to make it a little bit spicy & so far, the best pumpkin spice latte i've taste in Montreal & the surrounding. Their apricot croissant also good & tasty. The lineup can be a little bit long, but it's worth it & I will be coming to this cafe again in the future.
I visited at a busy weekend afternoon, but the place is well staffed & the line moves fairly quickly. The food & drinks selection is great, but parking gets tricky when it's busy. Good place to relax!
Très bel endroit, parfait pour les photos instagram bien situé près du lac deux montagnes mais café correct sans plus & grille cheese à 15$, très overrated pour le prix.
Discovered this beautiful coffee spot while searching & instantly loved the unique setting-a spacious yard filled with tables, really charming & inviting. I ordered a latte & a classic cheese sandwich (a popular item on the menu). The sandwich was tasty & the latte was perfect. The overall vibe was fantastic. I'm pretty sure I'll be back soon.
Im giving 2 stars for the location view & outdoor area
Their iced lattee is very basic basically what you get at tims minus the sweetness
Grilled cheese is butter & smell of the cheese we literally couldnt see where the cheese was..
I really like this café, & the atmosphere is very nice. However, the service was not good. I chose a table inside & waited for the staff to clean it & remove the cups & dishes left from the previous customers, but they didn't do it. In the end, we had to clean the table ourselves.
Norad Cafe de l'Anse is a gem that feels like a warm embrace from the countryside. Housed in a charming, rustic-style home, the cafe boasts breathtaking views of the serene riverfront, offering a refreshing & tranquil atmosphere that instantly soothes the soul. The food is nothing short of delightful, with their grilled cheese sandwich - packed with flavor, it's easily one of the best I've ever had. The quinoa bowl is another standout, fresh & vibrant, striking a perfect balance of healthy & indulgent. Adding to the charm is a quaint little store showcasing unique, locally crafted artisan goods that are as heartwarming as they are beautiful. This cafe has quickly become one of my all-time favorites-a must-visit for anyone seeking a cozy, picturesque escape with exceptional food & a touch of local flair.
Beautiful setting & great atmosphere!
Coffee & food not wow though… I mean the buzzer didnt work so I had like a cold coffee & practically no GLuten Free option food left

If you have some time & are not in a rush, we highly recommend dropping by this café. We went there on Wednesday around noon &, despite it being crowded, we managed to find a seat outside. The view overlooking the lake was tranquil, soothing, & refreshing. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks (there was a notice at the cashier mentioning a 10-20 minute delay from the time of ordering, so we were not caught by surprise). The drinks were worth the wait-we ordered a flat white & a hot chocolate, both rich in flavor & well-prepared. There were also gluten-free & vegan options for pastries & desserts. Overall, this is definitely a café where you can recharge after a stimulating day. It is also family-friendly & dog-friendly.
Beautiful spot by the water. Friendly staff. I had the most amazing grilled cheese sandwich with twist (apple chutney, spinach, walnuts & coriander.) with latte. Definitely, a lovely place & quaint place to visit.
