Considering how stunning this property is, I was taken by surprise how bad our lunch meal turned out. What a disappointing, unenthusiastic menu. The food was surely not at the level I had experienced several times during my other visits. The pasta dish was swimming in tomato sauce. The hamburger was so dry, my companion left it behind, accompanied with the cold bread bun & barely warm fries. The desserts however were delectable. I really wish I didn't feel this negative, however, this hotel's chef should get a proper talking to. Looking forward to some future changes. Other than that, the staff was superb & very welcoming.
Un bon restaurant avec une magnifique vue ! J'ai choisi d'aller en terrase & c'était très agréable. Les plats étaient bons. J'ai aimé le Bleuet Smash ! Un mocktail original & rafraîchissant.
Lovely food, atmosphere & views for hotel Chateau Vaudreuil guests. Christopher, the bartender was very helpful & spoke perfect English!
The Sunday Brunch Prix Fix was delicious but also WAY too much food for me. I got the avocado toast, Risotto with shrimp, fish & a pistachio cream puff sort of dessert. The accompanying wine was delicious as well.
I was the only one eating at the bar & the rest of the restaurant seemed to be filled with groups.
Lunch there is also delicious. There are beautiful views from the screened in porch.
We went in for a late dinner the kitchen was about to close but they waited for us . I had the steak it was fantastic & my wife was able to make a special request. Like I said it was late so bar area was a little noisy.
I wanted to share my experience at this restaurant after hosting a surprise party for my wife there. From the very beginning, the entire process was handled with professionalism & care.
A special thank you to Lynda Smith, who managed all the planning details for the event. She was extremely organized, attentive, & communicative throughout the process. She answered every question I had, followed up with phone calls, & always replied to emails very quickly. Everything went smoothly thanks to her attention to detail.
The only feedback I would offer is regarding the PDF documents that needed to be signed. If someone doesn't have a PDF editor or writer, it can be a bit difficult. I suggested replacing them with an online form or web link that guests can fill out more easily - just a small suggestion for improvement.
As for the event itself, I truly cannot thank the staff enough. Manager Frederic Blouin welcomed me & introduced me to the team, which immediately made me feel comfortable. A very special thank you goes to Sheri, who I believe was the head waitress. She was absolutely amazing. She handled all the orders, made sure every guest had everything they needed, & was incredibly polite & friendly throughout the evening. I was a little stressed at the beginning because I wanted everything to go perfectly for the surprise, & Sheri went above & beyond to reassure me & make sure everything stayed on track. If you host an event there & get Sheri helping you, you are very lucky.
I also want to thank the rest of the crew who worked alongside her - Vincent & Patricia. We had 32 guests, & I watched them work incredibly hard to make sure every order & every drink was correct. They handled everything professionally & without mistakes. Their hard work & positive attitude really stood out.
In my opinion, if you are planning a party or surprise event, I highly recommend using their private rooms. The setup was easy, organized, & very well planned, & paying per person made the process simple.
As an added bonus, we were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather. Right outside the room there was a perfect spot by the water where we were able to take amazing family pictures, which made the day even more special.
Once again, thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration such a success. I truly hope your managers & leadership team see this review because your entire crew did an outstanding job. It was very much appreciated.
Very nice & elegant restaurant. There's place for live music & bar & tables to sit down & enjoy your meal while listening to live music. Delicious food: we took Ceaser Salad & Gnocchi with cream vodka sauce rosé & agneau with veggies👌🏼
