We celebrated a trio of birthdays while we were visiting Montreal. Nolan is super cool vibes & cozy. We let our waiter who I believe is one of the owners curate a menu for our group of 6 at a price point that we set. Felt like we had a great variety of food & good portions & they were able to accommodate some items for my dietary preferences. The food was really good but what was the best was the service. The workers were warm & so friendly & we stayed many hours enjoying the vibes. Highly recommend!Voir plus

While searching for a New Year's Eve dinner spot in Montreal, we discovered Nolan online & were drawn to its charming atmosphere. Booking it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The ambiance lived up to our expectations, & the food surpassed them - truly incredible. The service was exceptional, especially when we discovered the pre-fixed menu leaned heavily towards meat & fish dishes, posing a challenge for my vegetarian girlfriend. The staff went above & beyond, ensuring she had delectable options for every course. The drinks were equally noteworthy. Meeting Abel & Eli, some of the wonderful individuals behind the establishment, was the cherry on top - their warmth & hospitality added a personal touch to the experience. They were out of bread & 4 items were no longer available on the menu. No wine by the glass on the menu, gotta ask for prices. They ended up charging more than what they had said. Dissapointing. Food was good though (nolan roll) & the atmosphere was very busy & lively.Voir plus

I came with my friend & sat at the bar. One can tell it is a hang out for those in the neighborhood; it was still packed at 10 pm on a Thursday night. The host/owner was friendly & warm; he made us a nice espresso martini with mezcal & one of the house drinks with citrus & aperol (super tart drink). The other owner also was friendly & educated us on various alcohol (from his preference of dry martinis to how to pour a 5 liter wine bottle). We just left it up to the owner for what to eat: started with an amazing fall squash dish & scallops. The mains was a duck gnocchi dish with quite nice flavors, halibut cheeks which was quite the treat. There was a potato side which was not as good as everything else but made a delicious breakfast snack the next day. Finally got the house dessert which was plenty for both of us to share. The meal came up to 151 before tips which I think was a bargain for the experience.Voir plus

Very welcoming & cozy spot. The style & environment is both unassuming & unpretentious. Most importantly, the customer service is amazing & the food is delicious. The steak was tender, cooked right & smothered in an absolutely yummy sauce. The fish was flaky, soft & melted in your mouth. The pasta cavatelli had just the right 'chew' to it, perfectly al dente & was accompanied by a spectacular sauce. An absolute gem not to be missed.Voir plus
