Exceptional poutine (classic one) & burger! Initially, I wondered why the server didn't bring or suggest any condiments for the burger du monastère. I decided to try it as it was, & it turned out to be absolutely fantastic, not needing anything extra. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her merguez sandwich & side salad. The key lime cheesecake was delightful. Definitely worth every penny.
Notre serveur a été très gentil. La nourriture était très bonne, frites, poisson, poutine. Le seul problème c'est que nous allions voir un spectacle & nos repas ont été longs à sortir de la cuisine. Mais notre serveur a tout fait pour nous rassurer. Nous sommes arrivés à temps pour notre spectacle.
A pleasant place with a nice atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening & comfortable conversation. The music is unobtrusive, the service attentive, & the space feels welcoming.
The food is well balanced, with generous portions. The beet & grilled cheese salad was especially good.
The poutine with squeak-squeak cheese (the well-known fresh cheese from Quebec) was decent, but the cheese wasn't fresh enough to deliver the characteristic squeak-squeak texture.

J'ai aimé mais la servseuse ne ma pas demandé la cuisson de la viande poir mon burger & je l'aurais préfére medium mais il etait vraiment trop cuitpour moi, mais quand même très bon. Aussi la.poutine staff beaucoup trop salée pour moi, mais bonne aussi & très originale.
Nous étions un groupe de 16 pour l'anniversaire de mon fiancé un samedi soir. Le service a malheureusement été très lent - environ une heure avant les entrées & encore une heure avant les plats - ce qui a rendu l'attente difficile, surtout avec une petite de 5 ans. Certains plats, comme la poutine, manquaient un peu de fraîcheur. Nous avons tout de même apprécié l'ambiance & la gentillesse du personnel. Habituellement, nous passons toujours un bon moment à cet endroit, mais pour un grand groupe, l'expérience a été un peu décevante. Je reviendrai avec plaisir pour une sortie en plus petit comité.
Toute la qualité de cet endroit c'est la terrasse qui est très agréable & les bières. Sinon nous avons trouvé nos plats ordinaires, les frites etaient collées entre elles, le fromage poutine était pas bon & la salade de choux avait l'air vieille. Mais le plus décevant était le service, plus de 10 personnes attendaient a l'entrée, 6 serveurs étaient en avant & personne ne nous regardait ou nous parlait comme si on etait invisible. Quand on a finit par demander si on allait être répondu on s'est faite dire qu'il fallait attendre pour la qualité du service. La fille arrive en rigolant, les bras croisés, alors que tout le monde attends, pas très accueillants. Assez ordinaire.
