Noire et Blanche Microbrasserie operates as a functional establishment centered on the production of craft beers paired with a focused selection of bistro fare. The menu prioritizes hearty pasta dishes tossed in traditional sauces alongside crisp, garden-fresh salads featuring seasonal vegetable components. Patrons find an environment defined by the integration of brewing infrastructure and an approachable dining space designed for casual consumption. The kitchen emphasizes ingredient consistency to complement the rotating roster of house-brewed ales and lagers available on tap. By bridging the gap between a classic brewhouse and a contemporary bistro, the facility maintains a cohesive identity centered on flavor balance and culinary utility. This venue caters to those seeking standard comfort food staples within a relaxed, industrial setting that highlights the technical aspects of artisanal beer production.
Noire et Blanche Microbrasserie is widely celebrated for its exceptional variety of high-quality craft beers and a delicious, seasonally inspired food menu. Visitors frequently praise the beautiful, spacious terrace that overlooks the river, providing a charming and relaxed atmosphere for gatherings with friends or family. While the experience is generally highlighted by attentive, friendly service and a welcoming historic setting, the restaurant remains a popular destination that consistently earns recommendations for its tasty dishes, such as the fish and chips, tartares, and hearty burgers, making it a go-to spot in Saint-Eustache.
The food was O.K. I found it way overpriced. The fires for me, were not good. We had 3 beer a poutine & a burger with fries...the bill was over $100. They have a beautiful terrace. The service was good
Update:
Tried the cabane à sucre poutine tonight, delicious! Paired with a Daragon cider & excellent service.
Original review:
Exceptional poutine (classic one) & burger! Initially, I wondered why the server didn't bring or suggest any condiments for the burger du monastère. I decided to try it as it was, & it turned out to be absolutely fantastic, not needing anything extra. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her merguez sandwich & side salad. The key lime cheesecake was delightful. Definitely worth every penny.
A pleasant place with a nice atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening & comfortable conversation. The music is unobtrusive, the service attentive, & the space feels welcoming.
The food is well balanced, with generous portions. The beet & grilled cheese salad was especially good.
The poutine with squeak-squeak cheese (the well-known fresh cheese from Quebec) was decent, but the cheese wasn't fresh enough to deliver the characteristic squeak-squeak texture.
Overall, a nice spot with a good atmosphere & solid food, with a small detail that could be improved.
