Exceptional poutine (classic one) & burger! Initially, I wondered why the server didn't bring or suggest any condiments for the burger du monastère. I decided to try it as it was, & it turned out to be absolutely fantastic, not needing anything extra. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her merguez sandwich & side salad. The key lime cheesecake was delightful. Definitely worth every penny.
On adore cette microbrasserie. Leur bières sont excellentes & de très bonne qualité. La soupe à l'oignon , toujours un must en entrée. Nous avons mangé le burger du monastère (comme toujours), le steak-frites & le tartare de boeuf en plat principaux. Tout était excellent! & que dire du service, toujours impeccable. Merci à notre serveur Jim & toute l'équipe en place le samedi soir. Si vous ne connaissez pas, c'est à découvrir!

J'ai aimé mais la servseuse ne ma pas demandé la cuisson de la viande poir mon burger & je l'aurais préfére medium mais il etait vraiment trop cuitpour moi, mais quand même très bon. Aussi la.poutine staff beaucoup trop salée pour moi, mais bonne aussi & très originale.
Bonne bière, bonne bouffe, bon service & belle ambiance. Le burgers est excellent. Bon choix de bière. Très beau quartier de St-Eustache. Beaucoup de place à l'intérieur & sur la belle terrasse extérieur.
First & last time at this place. Food was incredibly bland & wildly overpriced. Photos make the food look good, far from it! Just to get 2 entrees took over 35 minutes with lame excuses. The burger had no flavour , nor was it appealing. The fries were absolutely disgusting! The jalapeno poppers horrible, just horrible! Another crossed off the list. The only nice thing is the place itself in its own way.
Nourriture insipide. J'ai pris le burger Angus. Le pain goûtait le brûlé .Frites allumettes ordinaires. J'ai avisé le serveur que nous étions là pour les 30 ans de mon fils & il ne lui a pas apporté un gâteau comme le font beaucoup de restaurants. Bref, je n'y retournerai pas.
En réservant pour 18:00 & en arrivant, on nous a demandé si on allait voir le spectacle. À cause du spectacle (à 20:00) on nous a suggéré de commander seulement un plat principal & le tout avant 18:15. Nous avons donc commander en vitesse en présumant qu'il y avait un enjeu. Notre plat est arrivé à 18:10 & les breuvages à 18:15. À 18:30, nous avions déjà l'addition & nous avons quitté ! Nous avons donc eu la table pour moins de 30 minutes alors que nous en avions 120 avant que le spectacle commence. Je n'ai rien compris de l'empressement & la pression que le restaurant nous mettait... La bouffe était correct sans plus. Un mélange salé & sucré intense dans le burger & des frites hyper épicées salées.
I really wanted to adore this place. I called & was told they might have room for 2. We showed up & lucky for us there was a table available. We ordered 2 beers. The creme ale was excellent , bitter floral easy to drink . Best beer I ve had in a while. My wife first beer a spiced red ale was also good but way too bitter. We ordered the burger & the fish & chips. We waited one hour for our food & when we got it the burger was cold & overcooked. The flavors were there but because they were cold it wasn t very good. The fish (though lukewarm & the batter not crunchy) was good & flaky & the tartare sauce was excellent. I ordered a flight of beers 3 stouts & a red ale . The stouts were bland & lacked flavor except for the pumpkin spice stout which was flavorful but wayyy too sweet . The red ale was very good . The price was ok 132 for the beer & the food. The server was excellent but the long wait time for the food was the reason for one less star. Good place but overworked staff....also for some reason the table next to us got my flight . (But I explained that it was mine)
Vendredi le 4 octobre 2024. Visite avec ma femme & ma fille. 30-40min pour être assis! Sans réservation alors c'est correct. Burger du monastère extra fromage, servi brûler & sans fromage 🫤. Un temps fou pour être servi. Très mauvaise expérience. Pour un endroit qui était près pandémies super!!

Bonne bière. J'ai pris un burger. Je n'ai pas tant aimé. C'est une question de goût. Je n'aime pas les burgers avec des épices dans la boulette (plus similaire à un pain de viande). C'est un peu comme à "la belle & la beuf". Mais c'est seulement mon opinion.
Found this gem by accident & so coming back there! They have a great selection of beer & delicious food. We tried burgers du monastere & they were melting in our mouths - juicy & full of flavour. Chicken wings were very good - crispy & zesty. We also tried their IPA & cocktails. Really loved their Moustache & Mulet cocktail & sangria. I wish they had more kids meals options besides the poutine & burger. We had a great server. She knew the menu very well & made her recommendations. They have their own parking hut it was full so there is a free city parking just across the street. Overall, this is an amazing place with a very private terrace in the back facing the little river with a lot of interesting birds. We saw a cardinal & a blue heron while we were quaint for our food. There are several bathrooms: in the basement, main floor & also upstairs (with baby changing station!). Very clean. Great place. Thank you! We will be back!
I recently visited Noire & Blanche & had an overall enjoyable experience. The ambience is lovely, particularly if you get a seat on the terrasse right by the river. It provides a serene & picturesque setting that greatly enhances the dining experience. One of the highlights for me was their beer selection. The variety & quality of the beers they offer are truly delicious & cater to a wide range of tastes. As for the meal, it was good, although I did encounter a couple of issues with my burger. It was a bit overcooked for my liking, & the bun was cold & un-toasted, which detracted from the overall flavor & texture. However, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise pleasant dining experience. In summary, Noire & Blanche is a great spot for those looking to enjoy a nice atmosphere & a fantastic beer selection. While there is some room for improvement in the food preparation, I would still recommend it & look forward to visiting again.

Bel endroit. C'est propre c'est beau. Salle à manger est au sous-sol. Plancher de bois. C'est un brin bruyant. J'ai commandé une assiette de nachos avec un extra de porc effiloché. La serveuse a oublié mais s'est ratrappée fort convenablement 🍺 Mon ami a bien aimé son burger & j'ai aimé les nachos. La bière (ipa) bien désaltérante.
Bonne bière, bonne ambiance, beau lieu, bon service.
La nourriture a été décevante. Il s'agissait du plateau classique à deux.
- La boulette du burger était brûlée (croûte noircie autour) & bien trop cuite (bien sec au centre)
- Le fromage en grain de la poutine n'était pas frais ( texture d'un fromage en grain laissé 2-3semaines au frigo, voir au congelo 🥲).
La sauce & le gout de la poutine était quand même bonne!
- Le tartare avait une bonne texture. Toutefois, il y avait un goût d'huile rancie, & beaucoup trop de vinaigre (je sais pas ce goût vinaigré venait d'où, mais trop intense.)
Très de base comme tartare.
Ce n'était clairement pas une ficelle comme mentionné dans le menu qui accompagnait le tartare.
La salade était excellente!
