Very cool atmosphere, service took a little while but the quality of the food & drinks made up for it. Cocktails are strong too 🍸

Right from stepping through the door, I realized the service was going to be rough. There was no host & no greeting. The lack of attentiveness continued throughout the meal: dirty plates were left on the table, no one checked in to see if we needed anything, & they completely forgot our orders. When the food did arrive, some of the dishes were shockingly salty (the mushrooms & wontons). The restaurant clearly has good potential, but the operation is a mess. To make matters worse, the prices are steep for what you get. The cocktails were mostly ice & completely missed the mark. Very disappointing overall.

?The food here was generally okay, but the service was chaotic. We ordered two items from the cold menu that never arrived at all. To make matters worse, our main dishes were brought out before we even received our drinks. On top of the disorganized timing, several items we tried to order were out of stock. The kitchen quality doesn't make up for the poor dining experience. Hopefully, management can get the staff & inventory better organized.

The food is genuinely good, but the service & pacing were very slow. Our dishes didn't come out anywhere close to the same time, & there was often a 15-minute wait between each one - even for cold dishes. It felt less like intentional coursing & more like the kitchen was tackling each item separately rather than managing the table's order as a whole.

It's unfortunate because the food itself is good & the concept is interesting, but the experience became frustrating when our meal was served so disjointedly. That said, the staff were very kind & receptive to our feedback. After we raised the issue, they made sure the rest of our order came out & also sent us additional food to apologize, which we appreciated.

Went here on a.l double dates & loved the vibes! We tried the cocktails, but next time I'll stick to the sake. The pressed sushi & potato salad were my favorites. The ebichili & Dailo wontons were really good too!

The portions are small & the prices are high. I ordered the miso katsu dish. It arrived in a small bowl with some meat & lots of rice.

Also tried the non-alcoholic Neo-Tokyo iced tea. It was very sweet, but again the value is not good. It's a small glass filled with lots of ice.

At the end of the day, I don't recommend coming here & I don't think I'll go back.

We had lunch at this Japanese restaurant & overall had a good experience. The food was fresh, tasty, & nicely prepared. The fish was particularly good-fresh, with a nice texture & flavor. We also enjoyed the fried chicken, which was crispy on the outside & satisfying.

The service was nice & friendly. The staff were attentive & made the lunch experience pleasant without being overly formal. Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time, & we had no complaints about the service.

The main thing we noticed was the portion size. The portions were a little on the small side, especially if you are looking for a filling lunch. However, the prices are quite reasonable, so considering the cost, we can't really complain too much. That said, we would have appreciated just a little more food on the plate. A slightly larger portion would make the overall value even better.

Overall, this is a good option for a casual Japanese lunch. The food quality is good, the fish is fresh, the fried chicken is crispy, & the service is pleasant. We enjoyed our meal & would consider coming back, especially if we're looking for something reasonably priced & not too heavy for lunch.
