My best friend & I visited this restaurant for supper, & we were impressed with the cyberpunk decor. We ordered the cucumber salad (4/5) & the spicy Karaage chicken (5/5) as sides, the Ice-Tea (5/5) & the beer mojito, the Tonkotsu ramen (3.5/5) & the TanTan ramen as main, & the cereal milk ice cream as dessert (4.5/5). The service was very sweet & efficient. Overall great experience!

We had to wait 1h15min for a table, but they told us right away it would be between 1-1.5 hours. Left my number, went for a walk, & got the callback exactly on time-no complaints for a trendy Saturday night.
Once inside, you're completely immersed in Neotokyo's cyberpunk ramen world. Neon signs, a retro phone booth, even the graffiti in the bathroom-every detail is perfect. It's hands-down the coolest restaurant design I've ever seen.
Service was fast considering it was a full house-order taken in about 10 minutes, ramen & sides out in 16. Prices are really fair: $110 for 2 mains, 2 sides, & 2 drinks. Everything was flavorful & delicious.

Very nice atmosphere in the dining place, giving the Japanese cyberpunk vibes. It's also a nice to hangout for a drink or two with friends. I have been here during lunch hours & it's crowded with a long queue. However, when I come after 8:30pm, I can straight walk in & have a seat without waiting.

L'ambiance est un bon atout, & je ne suis pas le seul à avoir remarqué cette vibe underground & moderne. Le service est chaleureux, bien qu'on note parfois une légère attente aux heures de pointe. Arriver tôt est donc recommandé. Pour notre part, un vendredi midi à 11h30, nous avions le choix de toutes les places! Côté nourriture, c'est un des grands points forts. Le ramen au curry est riche & savoureux, un véritable coup de coeur! De nombreux critiques encensent également les karaage épicés, & après les avoir goûtés, je comprends pourquoi : ils sont excellents! Cependant, certains plats, comme la pieuvre, ont laissé mes collègues un peu plus tièdes. Ce n'était pas mauvais, mais il manquait le fameux wow qu'on attend parfois. Par ailleurs, quelques clients ont mentionné que les prix sont un peu élevés comparés à d'autres restaurants de ramen à Montréal. Dans l'ensemble, NeoTokyo est un excellent choix pour les amateurs de cuisine japonaise, offrant à la fois des plats traditionnels & innovants dans un cadre visuellement captivant. Avec sa nourriture savoureuse & son service sympathique, c'est un petit resto intéressant pour vivre une expérience culinaire unique à Montréal.
The ambience of this place is great! It gives off a cyberpunk/stray vibe. Service was very good too. Food took a little too long but the server was very attentive. As for the food, my partner & I ordered the mazemen & the tonkotsu ramen...first few bites we were amazed by the flavour! But after a few more bites it gets old. Overall both dishes were too salty. The menu is small & doesnt offer much variety for food (yes for drinks). Not a kid-friendly place (nor picky-eater-friendly). It's also very expensive, $70 for two people, 2 ramens, 1 non-alcoholic drink & 15% tip.
Great looks, like out of cyberpunk2077, friendly staff, yummy food for sure!! Might I suggest that since you don't take cash, you warn customers before taking orders. Almost got in a situation that I couldn't pay lol. We're not in 2077 yet, cash is still queen ✨️ I understand that cards are faster & it helps with a efficient service. But let's be honest, not many will pay cash so it shouldn't slow down things Cheers!♥️
Neotokyo has turned into my favourite ramen spot in town due to their delicious mazemen. These brothless ramen dishes are simply delicious & unique. It is a place close to my heart as I love the cyberpunk aesthetic. I wish it included references to a variety of media in the genre, but of course it's mostly based on Akira. The first time I came here a while back, I wasn't too impressed, but they have really improved their menu over time, forcing me to edit my review & give it 5 stars. These days I would easily recommend this place as somewhere you have to go if you visit the city.
Neotokyo was extremely cool. The vibes were on point. It felt like we were in a cyberpunk, urban futuristic world. The food was great, top service, & amazing atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious, & we'll be visiting again next year! あざっす 🙏🏻
Awesome atmosphere-straight out of cyberpunk lore. My group enjoyed delicious food & was incredibly excited & complimentary. I need to especially thank our amazing server, Elle, who was patient & funny & incredibly accommodating. Being allergic to broth gluten & fish, this wasn't the best fit for me. Elle somehow pieced together a delicious meal comparable to the rest of our party. Thank you Elle!
Awesome cyberpunk vibes & good food! The interior was stunning & felt very Blade Runner-esque. My friends & I came on a Friday night, over an hour before closing, & waited about 7 minutes before getting a table. The interior is so die for! It was moderately noisy, full, & quite hot, but we were graciously seated next to a fan. The service was quick, friendly, & amazing! We ordered the Tonkatsu ramen, the Tokyo Style ramen, & the TanTan ramen. The food was good but not special. The Tonkatsu ramen was delicious, while the Tokyo style was ok & the TanTan was not good. The TanTan was extremely salty despite adding a cup of water to the broth, perhaps because we visited at the end of the day. Otherwise, the chasu & broth was flavourful & aromatic. Would come here again to give their mazemens a try!
