The food & service was delicious! As someone who was not familiar with the menu items, our server took her time to explain everything for us & came back to make sure we were happy or if we had other questions! Would 100% recommend!!View more
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Their Hot Spicy Noodle Soup is absolutely amazing-flavorful, hearty, & with just the right amount of spice. It's my go-to dish every weekend. Not only is it delicious, but the portion size is huuuuge, & it's incredibly affordable for what you get. I love that it's a weekend special-it makes it feel even more special. The staff is friendly, & the atmosphere is cozy but a little bit tight. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! How does that sound?View more
A great lunch spot stop on a cold & windy day. The vegan bases & noodle options are clearly labeled. A lot of noodle & veg for a small price. The food came out fast & the staff were friendly. Everyone was seated away from the doors so we would stay warm & the opening door wouldn't impact us too much. We also got some jasmine tea :) def recommend for vegans.View more

If you are looking for a great restaurant somewhere in Chinatown, near the Old Montreal area too. You've found your spot, what is fascinating is the design, authentic. The service was great from the moment we got in, Ive enjoyed my experience & I would definitely recommend trying either their (Soups, Noodles) as a person who isn't into meat in general, I was glad they have a vegetarian option, you choose your ingredients as on the menu.View more

Nabe Nouilles de Riz Yunnan
Nabe is a small restaurant in Chinatown that specializes in Yunnan rice noodles. I've often avoided reviewing Yunnan rice noodle restaurants because in my opinion, many of them don't differentiate themselves. Nabe deserves a special honour.
I got the Classic Soup with Sliced Pork. As one of their cheapest dishes, I honestly wasn't expecting much, but this dish stood out to me. The noodles were pretty standard rice noodles, but the broth was significantly more rich & creamy than I was expecting. The ingredients were also quite generous, with a whole collection including pork slices, vegetables, mushrooms, tofu etc that made for a great meal. I will admit however I found it a little weird eating normal sausage in this compared to Chinese sausage, but it didn't take away from the dish too much. Note that there are no noodle refills (that I was aware of).
Overall, great food & would recommend! Only big suggestion I have is: please switch to reuseable cups instead of using wasteful plastic cups. It's not like the bowls or spoons are disposable so there's no real excuse for using plastic cups.
