About us
Tucked away on the 5th floor of downtown HONEYROSE Hotel Montreal, Muze Lounge & Terrasse is an inspiration. A place to escape from the everyday, where time stops for a moment of celebration. The jungle-inspired décor evokes dreams of travel to an exotic land, whilst the expansive covered terrace allows guests to keep watch over the bustling Quartier des spectacles rain or shine.
With healthy Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, an extensive cocktail menu, and our all day menu and Dj nights, Muze is a laid-back dining experience not to be missed.

The atmosphere & aesthetic are on point: we were seated on the terrace. Because of how busy the restaurant was, it took them 45 minutes to send a waitress our way so we could order: we arrived at 10pm, & by the time we could order, the cuisine was closed. However, because of the wait, they offered to reopen the kitchen to specially prepare what we wanted to consume. & to compensate the wait, the manager offered 2 drinks on the house. Waitress was very comprehensive & sweet. When it comes to the food, we tasted a guacamole with nachos which was tasty but nothing too exceptional. Would definitely come back though, having hope the wait was just a "one time thing". Overall, I would still recommend MUZE without any hesitation!View more

Had an absolutely wonderful evening at Muze. The aesthetic feels upscale, while also feeling warm. The cocktail menu, which has pitcher options, was impressive, & all the drinks we ordered tasted fresh & unique. To start, we ordered the octopus, which was very light & flavourful. For dinner, we enjoyed the short rib, which was cooked perfectly & came with very tasty scalloped potatoes. The black current chocolate mousse dessert completed our meal beautifully. Beyond the food & feel, we were beyond impressed with the staff. The doorman Bob was incredibly friendly & welcoming. Our server, Blanche, was attentive & helpful, allowing us to enjoy our drinks & meal at a leisurely pace. We also met the management team, Jesse & Thierry, both of whom kindly checked on us throughout our meal, putting the heater on when it started to cool down, & ensuring we were enjoying everything. It was a great evening to kick off the summer patio season. Thank you! We will be back for sure.View more

Je tiens à partager une expérience décevante vécue dans ce restaurant terrasse, malgré le potentiel de l'endroit. Bien que nous ayons réservé une table, nous avons dû attendre 30 minutes avant d'être placés, & nous n'étions pas les seuls dans cette situation, ce qui montre clairement une mauvaise gestion des réservations. Après avoir enfin été assis, il nous a fallu encore 15 minutes pour recevoir le menu, & seulement le menu des boissons! Il a fallu 5 minutes de plus pour qu'on nous apporte le menu des plats. Une fois nos entrées servies, l'attente pour les plats principaux a dépassé les 50 minutes. Au milieu de cette longue attente, notre serveuse est même venue nous demander si nous voulions l'addition, ce qui nous a fait réaliser que nous avions été tout simplement oubliés. C'est seulement après que je me sois levé pour parler avec le gérant que les choses ont commencé à bouger. Pour couronner le tout, malgré ce service médiocre, aucun rabais ne nous a été offert. Le gérant nous a proposé deux boissons gratuites, mais à ce stade, nous voulions simplement partir. En résumé, un service déplorable & une gestion défaillante des réservations & du service. Dommage, car l'endroit a un réel potentiel.View more

While the food at the restaurant was just okay & didn't leave a lasting impression, I must admit that the restaurant's aesthetic is visually appealing, making it ideal for Instagram-worthy pictures. However, I would recommend this place more for drinks rather than for dining, as that seems to be its strong suit.View more

Food Chicken Tacos (2 Tacos) We only wanted a small bite & this hit the spot while we sipped on Prosecco. Service Could use some improvement. This could have been us reading too much into it but we got the feel that they did not want us there. When we were seated my wife asked if they do anything special for anniversaries, as we were celebrating. We were told that we first needed to order an appetizer, entree & drink but that she would check with her manager. Of course, we never heard anything back. We didn't make a big deal & proceeded to order our food & a couple of bottles of wine. At this point, is when I began to get the uneasy feeling as we asked for two glasses of water with lemon. After asking another (3) times the waters were brought. We had to asked another two times for the lemons. We stayed at the HoneyRose for a week & lets just say this was our first & last time going to the lounge. I would suggest venturing out as there are many other places within 5-10 minutes walking. Atmosphere Nice, Chill & Laid back. They had a DJ setup but seemed to only just play from a playlist.View more

Un très très bel endroit. Situé dans l'hôtel, le lounge est tout neuf. L'entrée est wow... le bar juste après la porte d'entrée est vraiment superbe. La déco est très sympa & douce, accueillante. Les tables de la salle sont confortables mais rien d'extraordinaire. Le coin devant le foyer, juste à côté du bar & de la cabine de DJ est génial! Les cocktails étaient très réussis & les huitres merveilleusement fraiches & bonnes. Bref, super endroit... Mais... Juste un autre lounge. Rien ne permet vraiment de les différencier. C'est juste un autre très beau lounge. J'ai hâte de voir la dynamique avec la terrasse.View more

We booked this restaurant for Valentine's Day thinking it would be a cute new place to try. Unfortunately, other than the nice vibe of the restaurant, I would not recommend going here based on our experience. 1. We were sat in the corner of the restaurant & did not have enough space to move our legs for how crammed it was. We asked the hostess if we could change table (there were approx. 8 empty tables in our section). She said that she could not because they were fully booked (I understand that) however she could have put someone else there. We then asked our waitress to see if there was ANY possibility to change spot because we didn't have leg space & showed her our leg space & she said "ah ouain c'est vrai mais non". At that point, we just took the L. 2. The waitress refused to serve us in English. When we would speak, she would reply back in French. I understand that we are in Quebec, but given that the restaurant is located in DT MTL in a hotel, maybe the staff could make an effort to reply/serve their anglophone customers & English speaking-tourists in English. She clearly understood English as she was replying in 3. We arrived at the resto at 7:30pm. They had approx. 5 main course meals that you can choose from. We asked if we could get the bowl & she said that they had run out which is a bit odd since it was quite early in the evening & many couples around us had ordered the pre-made vday menu. 4. We got our entree & once we finished, the waitress passed by & asked if wanted the bill. Mind you, at this point we did not even receive our main meal yet. She did not admit that she forgot to put the order in & we had to wait another 40 mins on top of the hour that we were already there. 5. The waitress did not bring us water. We had to ask for water & when she brought it, she brought 2 glasses that were half full. 6. We both got burgers & they tasted fine. The sauce was not spread evenly on the bun so every time I took a bite, the flavour would change - I was not a fan of that. The pairing of the BBQ dipping sauce & Asian-flavoured salad did not pair well. There are many other restos in MTL where you can get a better burger for cheaper. 7. I forgot the name of the cocktail that I got but it was the one with cream. It was so strong, I had to gulp it down like I was taking a shot.View more
