Tucked away on the 5th floor of downtown HONEYROSE Hotel Montreal, Muze Lounge & Terrasse is an inspiration. A place to escape from the everyday, where time stops for a moment of celebration. The jungle-inspired décor evokes dreams of travel to an exotic land, whilst the expansive covered terrace allows guests to keep watch over the bustling Quartier des spectacles rain or shine.

Very generous 2.. Service was slow, & by slow I mean insufferably so. During the four hours I was there I was served water three times & mind you, the cups are very small- I was not drinking anything else & the server knew that. The place is beautiful, I can't deny that, but the price of *everything* is exorbitant, 20$+ for any cocktails, 15$+ for mocktails ?? & the food was alright at best, the only positive point I can find to this place was the chocolate cake.View more

L'ambiance au Muze Lounge & Terrasse était vraiment wow - le décor & l'atmosphère étaient parfaits pour une soirée entre amis. Nous avions réservé pour 4 & avons finalement été 8, & l'équipe nous a gentiment accommodés rapidement, ce qui a été très apprécié. En plus, nos cocktails nous ont été offerts, un beau geste compte tenu de notre soirée.
Malheureusement, l'expérience côté service a été extrêmement décevante. Nous avons attendu 3 heures pour nos plats principaux… qui ne sont jamais arrivés. Juste pour avoir de l'eau & les cocktails, il a fallu attendre 2 heures. Nous avons aussi eu les menus devant nous toute la soirée.
Nous avions commandé une bouteille qui n'est jamais venue, & malgré notre patience, nous n'avons reçu aucune vraie explication ou suivi. À un moment, on est venu nous dire que notre serveur était nouveau - ce que nous avons totalement compris - mais il était évident qu'il n'a reçu aucune aide de la part de l'équipe, ce qu'on a trouvé franchement ordinaire pour un établissement de ce calibre.
Quant à la nourriture : les entrées étaient correctes mais clairement pas à la hauteur du prix demandé.
Bref, une soirée en demi-teinte : un endroit magnifique avec du potentiel, mais un service & une organisation qui laissent vraiment à désirer.View more

I went here with 12 friends for my 25th birthday. I'm really grateful they were able to accommodate a large party on short notice. We had a beautiful table on the terrasse. Ambiance was exceptional - full restaurant but not too loud to impede on conversation. The staff was delightful with the exception of one waiter (not ours). I had gotten up to tell her we were finally ready to order after discussion, forgetting that she wasn't our waiter. We were just going to take one plate of every item on the sharing menu (simple as that) so I asked if I could just tell her then & there. She was extremely rude about it, she ordered me to sit down aggressively & gave me an evil stare until I did. I didn't mean any harm or to delay her. I don't think she dealt with that situation professionally. Our cocktails & food were delicious. Everything tasted fresh & it was all very reasonably priced. Highly recommend for drinks & sharing menu. Have yet to come back for a meal. I'm intrigued. Thank you!View more

Pour la première fois je suis allé a Muze Lounge &Terrasse. Très impressionné par la place super beau, cozy, musique superbe, le personnage magnifique accueillant, sur la terrasse j'avais peur d'avoir froid avec mon amie mais il y a le chauffage donc sa te met plus a laise. Belle atmosphère j'ai vraiment adoré & j eu une belle impression 😍🙌 La seul chose c'est les prix..pour un cocktail c 21$ plus taxes ce que j'ai trouvé super cher. Le cocktail le plus cher que jai vue de ma vie dans un lounge cetait 18$ comprensible... donc j finalement pris du rosé a 19$ cetait super bon! Malheureusement je n'ai pas pi gouter au cocktail & moi j'adore ca. Si non la nourriture incroyable! Aussi un peu trop cher mais bon...LES FRITES GUYSS !!!! #1 sont incroyable! Pretty disappointing TBH. It's located inside the honeyrose hotel which is absolutely beautiful however the lounge/terrasse is lacking in a lot of areas. The decor is so cute here however food was not good & sadly neither were the cocktails.View more

First time & it won't be the last. The hotel itself is beautiful & the restaurant keeps with the aesthetic. Though it was busy, it didn't feel busy-we received a lot of special attention from management (director on down) - including a nice chat with the French chef! We started with the burrata & even though I'm generally not a kefta fan, the presentation looked so good, I had to order it as my main & was not disappointed. Vegetables were cooked to perfection, & fries were perfect-a bigger/ fatter version of everyone's favourite, McDonald's lol. Dessert, a pistachio biscuit, was lovely & light & I enjoyed my amaretto based cocktail. Great service from Judy & Lida, &, along with the venue & atmosphere, this resto ticks all the boxes!View more

Had an absolutely wonderful evening at Muze. The aesthetic feels upscale, while also feeling warm. The cocktail menu, which has pitcher options, was impressive, & all the drinks we ordered tasted fresh & unique. To start, we ordered the octopus, which was very light & flavourful. For dinner, we enjoyed the short rib, which was cooked perfectly & came with very tasty scalloped potatoes. The black current chocolate mousse dessert completed our meal beautifully. Beyond the food & feel, we were beyond impressed with the staff. The doorman Bob was incredibly friendly & welcoming. Our server, Blanche, was attentive & helpful, allowing us to enjoy our drinks & meal at a leisurely pace. We also met the management team, Jesse & Thierry, both of whom kindly checked on us throughout our meal, putting the heater on when it started to cool down, & ensuring we were enjoying everything. Un très très bel endroit. Situé dans l'hôtel, le lounge est tout neuf. L'entrée est wow... le bar juste après la porte d'entrée est vraiment superbe. La déco est très sympa & douce, accueillante. Les tables de la salle sont confortables mais rien d'extraordinaire. Le coin devant le foyer, juste à côté du bar & de la cabine de DJ est génial! Les cocktails étaient très réussis & les huitres merveilleusement fraiches & bonnes. Bref, super endroit... Mais... Juste un autre lounge. Rien ne permet vraiment de les différencier. We booked this restaurant for Valentine's Day thinking it would be a cute new place to try. Unfortunately, other than the nice vibe of the restaurant, I would not recommend going here based on our experience. 1. We were sat in the corner of the restaurant & did not have enough space to move our legs for how crammed it was. We asked the hostess if we could change table (there were approx. 8 empty tables in our section). She said that she could not because they were fully booked (I understand that) however she could have put someone else there. We then asked our waitress to see if there was ANY possibility to change spot because we didn't have leg space & showed her our leg space & she said "ah ouain c'est vrai mais non". At that point, we just took the L. 2. The waitress refused to serve us in English. When we would speak, she would reply back in French. I understand that we are in Quebec, but given that the restaurant is located in DT MTL in a hotel, maybe the staff could make an effort to reply/serve their anglophone customers & English speaking-tourists in English. She clearly understood English as she was replying in 3. We arrived at the resto at 7:30pm. They had approx. 5 main course meals that you can choose from. We asked if we could get the bowl & she said that they had run out which is a bit odd since it was quite early in the evening & many couples around us had ordered the pre-made vday menu. 4. We got our entree & once we finished, the waitress passed by & asked if wanted the bill. Mind you, at this point we did not even receive our main meal yet. She did not admit that she forgot to put the order in & we had to wait another 40 mins on top of the hour that we were already there. 5. The waitress did not bring us water. We had to ask for water & when she brought it, she brought 2 glasses that were half full. 6. We both got burgers & they tasted fine. The sauce was not spread evenly on the bun so every time I took a bite, the flavour would change - I was not a fan of that. The pairing of the BBQ dipping sauce & Asian-flavoured salad did not pair well. There are many other restos in MTL where you can get a better burger for cheaper. 7. I forgot the name of the cocktail that I got but it was the one with cream. It was so strong, I had to gulp it down like I was taking a shot.View more

La nourriture est abordable, fraiche & servit rapidement.
Les cocktails sont préparées avec soin & les ingrédients sont bien proportionnés.
Je tien à mettre en lumière le travail remarquable de Charlotte, une des responsables de l'endroit.
Sans son savoir faire & sa gentillesse, la soirée aurais été moins appréciable.
On sent également que l'équipe qui y travaille sont tous sur la même vibe & sa fais plaisir à voir.

Cool & trendy new Terrasse, the music is a bit loud but it’s good. I found the staff overworked so they were a bit slow & made two mistakes on our orders. The food was Acceptable.
