Tucked away on the 5th floor of downtown HONEYROSE Hotel Montreal, Muze Lounge & Terrasse is an inspiration. A place to escape from the everyday, where time stops for a moment of celebration. The jungle-inspired décor evokes dreams of travel to an exotic land, whilst the expansive covered terrace allows guests to keep watch over the bustling Quartier des spectacles rain or shine.

We went to Muze with high expectations due to the location, the pictures of the food & the decor. However, we got there & were really disappointed by the service. We had to ask for menus & were not checked up on by the waiter. We ordered drinks, a starter & main courses. We waited over 45 minutes for the main courses without getting an update from the waiter. We had to get up & ask for someone to get our waiter. 20 minutes later, we decided to pay & leave because the food was still nowhere to be found just like the waiter. We don't recommend you go there unless you have a lot of patience & time to spend.View more

I went here with 12 friends for my 25th birthday. I'm really grateful they were able to accommodate a large party on short notice. We had a beautiful table on the terrasse. Ambiance was exceptional - full restaurant but not too loud to impede on conversation. The staff was delightful with the exception of one waiter (not ours). I had gotten up to tell her we were finally ready to order after discussion, forgetting that she wasn't our waiter. We were just going to take one plate of every item on the sharing menu (simple as that) so I asked if I could just tell her then & there. She was extremely rude about it, she ordered me to sit down aggressively & gave me an evil stare until I did. I didn't mean any harm or to delay her. I don't think she dealt with that situation professionally. Our cocktails & food were delicious. Everything tasted fresh & it was all very reasonably priced. Highly recommend for drinks & sharing menu. Have yet to come back for a meal. I'm intrigued. Thank you!View more

I was fairly disappointed with the food, the platter for two especially at the price of 70$, I don't think it's worth it. The only good thing was the fries & the salad. The steak tastes like straight charcoal, the chicken is dry with no seasoning, the sausages taste like normal grocery sausages. The sauce were Tzatziki & a sweet barbecue sauce, not the kind of sauce you want for your steak. I would suggest you get the burger at this point cuz you can't go wrong with a burger. Service was very long for a group of 15, for example : no cutleries, or tissue until after food got served, we were like 5 minutes without having anything to eat our food. We didn't get our orders taken before 30 minutes we sat down, I expect drinks to be atleast ordered & served, some food orders were mixed, the bills at the end were mixed up, everything was just very long. It's a very good place to take pictures, we took some in the hallway or the bathroom! Drinks were good tho & servers & staff were still nice & accommodating admits everything :)View more

Went to grab some dinner with my friend. & I am stunned by the low quality of the food. We had the CHEAPEST charcuterie board with 3 miserable toppings. As for the tacos... save your money especially paying 8$ for an extra taco. You're better off going a local taqueria. Drinks were just ok. Servers were polite. You can tell how much the food quality has declined over a year. I usually never regret splurging on dinner, but this time I really do. Low budget food for high dollars. Period.View more

We were clients from the hotel Honeyrose, all in all we had such a lovely & romantic dinner on the terrace Muze! The space is thoughtfully designed with elegant finishes which makes a nice atmosphere. Carla was very welcoming with a bright soul. There is a live DJ with very atmospheric beats to further increase the ambiance. Our waitress Lida was wonderful, kind, & attentive. The food was great on the eyes, but the drinks were remarkable! The tropical drink was one of the best I've had in terms of depth of flavor & complexity. I would definitely come again for drinks on the terrace.View more

Decided to visit the terrace bar during our stay at the Honeyrose Hotel. Service was slow despite the bar only being half full. Music was somehow too quiet to hear at the bar while also being so loud that you could hear it as high as three floors up from the bar on the 8th floor in the hotel. Bar is supposed to close at 12am, but the loud music continued well past 12am until about 1am. Drinks were ok but there's nothing really special about the bar itself.View more

The atmosphere & aesthetic are on point: we were seated on the terrace. Because of how busy the restaurant was, it took them 45 minutes to send a waitress our way so we could order: we arrived at 10pm, & by the time we could order, the cuisine was closed. However, because of the wait, they offered to reopen the kitchen to specially prepare what we wanted to consume. & to compensate the wait, the manager offered 2 drinks on the house. Waitress was very comprehensive & sweet. When it comes to the food, we tasted a guacamole with nachos which was tasty but nothing too exceptional. Would definitely come back though, having hope the wait was just a "one time thing". Overall, I would still recommend MUZE without any hesitation!View more

Had an absolutely wonderful evening at Muze. The aesthetic feels upscale, while also feeling warm. The cocktail menu, which has pitcher options, was impressive, & all the drinks we ordered tasted fresh & unique. To start, we ordered the octopus, which was very light & flavourful. For dinner, we enjoyed the short rib, which was cooked perfectly & came with very tasty scalloped potatoes. The black current chocolate mousse dessert completed our meal beautifully. Beyond the food & feel, we were beyond impressed with the staff. The doorman Bob was incredibly friendly & welcoming. Our server, Blanche, was attentive & helpful, allowing us to enjoy our drinks & meal at a leisurely pace. We also met the management team, Jesse & Thierry, both of whom kindly checked on us throughout our meal, putting the heater on when it started to cool down, & ensuring we were enjoying everything. It was a great evening to kick off the summer patio season. Thank you! We will be back for sure.View more

While the food at the restaurant was just okay & didn't leave a lasting impression, I must admit that the restaurant's aesthetic is visually appealing, making it ideal for Instagram-worthy pictures. However, I would recommend this place more for drinks rather than for dining, as that seems to be its strong suit.View more

Food Chicken Tacos (2 Tacos) We only wanted a small bite & this hit the spot while we sipped on Prosecco. Service Could use some improvement. This could have been us reading too much into it but we got the feel that they did not want us there. When we were seated my wife asked if they do anything special for anniversaries, as we were celebrating. We were told that we first needed to order an appetizer, entree & drink but that she would check with her manager. Of course, we never heard anything back. We didn't make a big deal & proceeded to order our food & a couple of bottles of wine. At this point, is when I began to get the uneasy feeling as we asked for two glasses of water with lemon. After asking another (3) times the waters were brought. We had to asked another two times for the lemons. We stayed at the HoneyRose for a week & lets just say this was our first & last time going to the lounge. I would suggest venturing out as there are many other places within 5-10 minutes walking. Atmosphere Nice, Chill & Laid back. They had a DJ setup but seemed to only just play from a playlist.View more

We like to have fancy holiday outings. We decided they had the look & location we were looking for. We weren't sure what to expect & an analysis of the menu did not help us at all. In fact, our expectations were probably lower after that but once we got our order we realized we were wrong. Located on the 5th floor of the (newish) beautiful honeyrose hotel, it has a great view on parts of downtown, & a gorgeous decor laden with flamingo & a pseudo jungle theme. We didn't eat here but the drinks matched our standards & that cheesecake... Wow. Surprisingly excellent to say the least.View more

J'y suis aller cette fin de semaine pour une fête d'amis. J'arrive en voiture pensant qu'il y aurait certainement un valet, mais non. Je demande pour un stationnement, mais aucun stationnement réservé pour la clientèle des restos. Si vous avez un restaurant chic, les femmes se pointent en talons, elles ne devraient pas avoir à marcher pour trouver du stationnement. Ensuite, nous sommes arrivé à 17h & la reservation se finissait à 20h. Le staff nous ont répété au moins 3 fois que nous devions avoir finis avant 20h même s'il était encore loin de l'heure & le restaurant était vide. Coat check a l'entrée du restaurant, Mais j'ai du y retourner car personne a offert de prendre mon manteau quand je suis arrivé. Nous voulions prendre des photos a l'entrée du resto, car ambiance & déco 10/10, nous nous sommes fait avertir qu'on pouvais seulement prendre 2-3 photos meme s'il y avait personne. J'ai demandé de changer un 20$ en 2 10$ & ils ne pouvaient meme pas me faire ça. Nourriture/drinks arrivée froide & médiocre. Le resto a un potentiel énorme mais mauvaise expérience pour le moment.View more
