Mundo Trattoria est né d'un rêve partagé par deux familles. Aujourd'hui, l'histoire se poursuit avec Johnny et Julian, des amis de toujours dont les pères ont fondé le restaurant ensemble. Ancrés dans la tradition et animés par la passion, ils ont su préserver l'essence d'une véritable trattoria italienne ici même à Kirkland.
Des pâtes fraîches faites à la main au veau tendre, en passant par les fruits de mer de saison, chaque plat reflète les saveurs de l'Italie et le soin particulier propre à une entreprise familiale. Fort de plus de 10 ans de service et de quatre décennies de tradition culinaire italienne, Mundo Trattoria est bien plus qu'un simple restaurant : c'est un endroit où l'on se sent chez soi.

We always have an amazing time at mundo trattoria. We had dinner for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Johny & his front of the house staff really made us feel special as always. The generosity of the portions & the quality of the food is hard to beat. Max, our waiter did an amazing job. We had the egg plant parm & the beef short rib which was cooked to perfection. Will be back soon & recommend this restaurant for a warm & cozy service & delicious food.
Accessible easily by the autoroute 20 took the 40 one time & Got lost going around & around & around in circles. Since it's tucked inside of an office building complex. But apart from that food very good booked 3 times all Good
We celebrated a birthday with a large group & couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was outstanding, the ambiance warm & inviting, & the service truly exceptional. Mathieu looked after our table with genuine care & attention, making the evening feel seamless & special. A perfect spot for a celebration; highly recommended!
On Friday evening my friend & I went to Mundo for my birthday. I did not expect the evening to be so much fun. The ambience is so zen but full of life. The decor is very sober & beautiful. The personnel is very warm & friendly. They take time to have a little chat. The food is marvelous. & Toni! Wow such a down to earth man with a very beautiful & mellow voice! He was amazing, going to each table & connecting with a very genuine smile. He loves to sing, he loves people & it shows. He brings joy to people. Thank you for this fantastic evening.
This place is a true gem in Kirkland! The food is amazing & service top notch. We went for lunch menu. Start with the table bread which is warm & crunchy. The sea food salad is full of flavour. Fresh catch was a white big fish, tender & fresh, very well cooked & seasoned. My friend ordered pasta & pork chop, they were all amazingly tasty. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.
Great place to spend the evening. I love that they add a different twist on Italian dishes & offer you delicious surprise everytime. We are always happy with our meal, service is outstanding. Tony is a blast.
My husband & I called on a Saturday evening & were grateful to get a last-minute dinner reservation at Mundo Trattoria. The ambiance was warm & inviting. The food was good, but unfortunately, the service-specifically from the kitchen-was incredibly slow.
Our server, Max, was great & did his best, but the long wait between courses was frustrating. For appetizers, we ordered the cod cakes, salmon tartare, & beet salad. The cod cakes were delicious, crispy, & flavorful, while the beet salad was fresh & delightful. The salmon tartare, however, was missing something-it could have used a bit more acidity or seasoning.
For mains, I ordered the tagliatelle with tomato sauce. Having just returned from Italy, I was looking for a homemade pasta experience, & Max confirmed that this was one of the two in-house pasta options. It did not disappoint-fresh, perfectly cooked, & full of flavor. My husband had the seafood spaghetti, which he enjoyed. However, the time between our appetizers & mains was far too long-so much so that my husband almost canceled the order. While we understand that a relaxed dining experience is part of the charm at some restaurants, this felt excessive.
We ended on a high note with the lemon olive oil cake, which was absolutely delicious-moist, flavorful, & the perfect balance of citrus & richness.
Overall, we had a pleasant evening, but the extremely slow kitchen service took away from the experience. If they can improve on timing, Mundo Trattoria could truly be a fantastic dining spot. Would we return? Maybe-but only if we're not in a hurry.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mundo! We hosted both my bridal shower & post-wedding dinner here, & from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The owners & staff went above & beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of.
The service was impeccable- attentive, friendly & invested in making our celebrations special. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Our guests are still raving about the experience!
