poutine(252) smoked meat(39) drink(32) sandwich(21) fries(17) recommend(16) gravy(16) prix(16) tap(16)We've been trying different poutines across Montreal & Quebec City, so we opted to try this one, sitting in the heart of Old Montreal city. We chose to sit indoors instead of the patio as the sun was heavy & hot that day. We ordered one ($15.99) to share with two drinks. A peach juice & a blue raspberry slushie. ($35 taxes included) The poutine was meh average, nothing special & not at all a show stopper to write home about. The gravy tasted the same as Harvey's poutine. Yes, I'm not proud that I'm comparing to Harvey's gravy but Yes, I'm dead serious! The peach juice was nice & refreshing, but the slushie had a DEAD BEE crushed with the ice!! It was absolutely disgusting to find AFTER my guest finished her drink!! All they did was remove the drink from the bill & apologized. The wooden tables & chairs & dining space in the upstairs dinette was cozy & nice bright from the sun.Voir plus
Tastes pretty good. But not a lot of food for 18$Voir plus
We came just for drinks & we had blast. Chic & boho place. Good beer & Aperol. They made accommodations for us to stay past the time.Voir plus
We were looking forward to try famous dish of Quebec: we ordered different variations of this dish & were not disappointed. It tasted great! Size of each dish looked different: one was fully filled & another was overflowing... be aware that this place doesn't provide complementary water. We ordered lemonade & grapefruit juice. Both drinks tasted great 👍Voir plus
Poutine lacked cheese & was quite plain. I like food with some flavours that make it interesting. A little surprised that you cannot get simple tap water instead are required to buy a $4 water. For a place that serves alcohol that is not in line with the liquor codes. Service was slow & took forever to get the bill.
Awesome food! We enjoyed this place so much that we came back a second time during our five day trip to Montreal!!Voir plus
Très bonne ambiance.... service parfait de Perpignan 👍🤪....poutine excellente.Voir plus
The food was great, but the overall experience was disappointing. We ordered two poutines, which totaled $50 (a steep price for what is essentially a plate of fries). Because of this, we decided not to leave a tip, but the server became visibly upset & left in a huff (didn't even say bye). We understand the importance of tipping, but after spending $50 on fries, their reaction was excessive & out of place!! It's unfortunate because the food was good, but the service left us feeling unwelcome & uncomfortable.
The food was just ok. The smoked meat sandwich was small. Atmosphere was cool though to be sitting in a courtyard surrounded by 300 year old buildings.Voir plus
10 minute wait for a drink. 30 minute wait for marginal foodVoir plus

Wow I wish that I had read the reviews before visiting here. They were correct. The service here is poor. We waited a long time before being served. You cannot order water in a glass - if you need a bottle of water or soda in a can the cost is $4! Cocktails are $16. The wait for our food wasn't as long but they made a mistake with our order. Finally, it took another long wait for our bill. The atmosphere was nothing special - the tables are packed very close together for a restaurant that in less than half capacity. I would not return.Voir plus
Les prix étaient bien. Cependant, l'établissement est trop petit & étroit, mais c'est dû aux vieux édifices du Vieux-Montreal.Voir plus
Is there a better poutine place in Montreal? I don't think so.Voir plus
C'est bon, c'est généreux mais obligé à payer l'eau c'est un non pour moi. 4$ la petite bouteille & imposible d'en avoir gratuitement comme le prévoit la loi au Québec.Voir plus
This is the first place we visited for food on a recent trip to Montreal, & boy were we glad. The food was absolutely delicious, the garden patio between the walls of the buildings was beautiful, the service was spot on, all in all it was the perfect choice. If you want Poutine in Old Montreal, try this place, we loved it!Voir plus
