Chicken is always great. I recommend the burgers or the plates. Rice is tasty & the salad is pretty basic. The sauce they use is delicious & the fries are amazing as well.
Monteiro's chicken was exceptional, & the sides, including the rice & salad, were superb. Additionally, the staff was friendly & accommodating, taking the time to explain the entire menu to me. One of the best customer service I've experienced.

So, let me tell you about this bomb peri peri chicken joint I hit up recently! Picture this: juicy, succulent chicken that's perfectly seasoned to absolute perfection. I mean, it's like they sprinkled magic dust on it or something. & don't even get me started on the sides - the yellow rice & fries were like a match made in heaven. Creamy, savory, & just downright delicious. The sauce they serve with the chicken just got the right amount of kick to it. Like, enough to make your taste buds dance but not so much that you're reaching for the fire extinguisher. & to balance it all out, they throw in this tangy, fresh salad that adds the perfect zing to every bite. The service was amazing! These folks were on it! Quick, friendly, & just all-around awesome. I accidentally ordered one can of soda instead of two, & they were like, "No worries, fam," & gave us an extra can on the house. Talk about hospitality done right! Overall, if you're in the mood for some seriously good peri peri chicken & a side of top-notch service, this place is where it's at. 10/10 would definitely go back for more!
Best chicken I've had in Montreal,very juicy & well seasoned. The sauce for the fries is a must try. Clean,cozy atmosphere & staff were incredibly friendly. Gave us free water bottles & filled up the leftover for takeout with more sauce & fries. Made my day! 10/10
