recently tried Monteiro & honestly it did not disappoint. I had the Tex-Mex bowl & a poutine, & both were absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh & well made, & the flavors were on point.
What really stood out were the sauces they were next level & brought everything together perfectly. You can tell they actually put effort into the food here.
Definitely coming back & I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something really good to eat.

Les photos parlent d'elles-mêmes : avant, un plat bien rempli; après, une assiette totalement vide. Monteiro est présent un peu partout à Montréal, & j'en ai testé plusieurs, mais je vais être honnête : celui de Jean-Talon se démarque clairement. Le goût reste fidèle à ce qu'on aime chez Monteiro, mais ici, le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment à un autre niveau. La quantité est tout simplement incroyable, tellement généreuse qu'elle dépasse largement ce qu'on retrouve ailleurs. C'est presque le double des autres franchises, & je pèse mes mots. Là où ailleurs on peut parfois finir un bol sans trop de difficulté, ici, même un seul bol peut être difficile à terminer tellement il est rempli. Le service est chaleureux, même quand il y a beaucoup de monde, l'hygiène est impeccable, & avec les nouvelles recettes, il y a encore plus de variété. Pour moi, c'est simple : c'est le meilleur Montero de Montréal. Si vous cherchez vraiment le meilleur rapport qualité-prix, allez-y sans hésiter, parce qu'ici, la quantité & la qualité sont au rendez-vous, & pas qu'un peu, & en plus, c'est halal.
Whose idea was it to serve their 1/2 chicken in a bowl? Salad was buried underneath the hot chicken. Soggy salad. Messy eating experience trying to access the rice & fries buried underneath the chicken. Disappointing experience today eating my favourite Portuguese chicken.
Good halal Portuguese fast food. Only go there for their Monteiro sandwich or XL Monteiro poutine. I call them in advance so it's ready when I come to dine in or take out! Amazing service
Update: They went from the aluminum take-out plate to the paper bowl

J'ai déjà mangé sur place, & aujourd'hui j'ai commandé via uber eats, c'etait très très bon!! Je ne pouvais la noter sur l'application. Pour moi un 5/5 bien mérité, bravo!!
