My new favourite dessert store. I had a little accident with the eclairs coming out of the store, & they were so sweet to replace them for me without any questions asked.

Je venue à la boutique car j'ai vu une publicité certainement d'un influenceur . Je suis assez déçu rien à voir avec nos éclairs au café fait par des meilleurs pâtissiers de France ( Henry poch) ici aucun goût du café & trop sucré .
Demande un orangina même pas de verre pour le boire , on a du même demander un ouvre bouteille pour ouvrir soi même la boisson . & le latte même pas une cuillère …. bref je l'ai essayé mais je reviendrais pas .
Une adresse incontournable pour les gourmands ! Les éclairs & les gâteaux sont tout simplement délicieux, avec un large choix de pâtisserie qui donne envie de tout goûter. Le chocolat chaud est incroyable ! En plus le personnel est agréable, à l'écoute, gentille & très professionnelle. Je recommande à 100% cette pâtisserie, ça vaut le détour !
We ordered a pistachio eclair & after one bite we ordered a second one. Perfect level of sweetness & natural pistachio flavor. I'm still dreaming of it…
Mont Eclair is a small gem tucked along Mont-Royal Avenue, a lively pedestrian street filled with cafés, bakeries, & restaurants. From the outside, the shop is easy to miss, but step inside & you'll find a beautifully designed space with pastries that look just as elegant as the setting.
Their flagship item is the éclair, though they also offer chocolate bars, tarts, & other finely crafted pastries. The young woman working during my visit was warm & welcoming-she spoke both English & French, which made ordering easy-& she happily answered our questions about ingredients & flavors. I chose a lavender tart, which was as delicious as it was striking in presentation-perfectly balanced in sweetness with a wonderful texture.
Most pastries, including éclairs, are around $7 CAD each. While slightly on the higher end, the quality & artistry more than justify the price. A few small tables inside make it easy to sit & enjoy your pastry on the spot.
If you're exploring Mont-Royal Avenue & craving something refined & memorable, Mont Eclair is well worth the stop.

Éclairs avec des parfums variés, aussi appétissants les uns que les autres, frais & succulents. L'accueil y est très chaleureux. Le café est très bon. Les prix y sont un peu plus élevés que la moyenne mais sont selon moi largement justifiés au vue de la qualité des ingrédients & de la beauté de l'emplacement. Beaucoup d encouragements à ces belles personnes serieuses, serviables, & professionnelles :)
De loin les meilleurs éclairs que j'ai goûté à Montréal.
J'ai testé celui à la vanille & celui à la noisette, c'était un délice.
La prochaine fois, je me laisserai également tenter par les chocolats !
Qui plus est, l'accueil est chaleureux, donc ça rentre définitivement dans mon carnet des bonnes adresses 😋

Un service à la clientèle impeccable, une expérience de desserts, ma fois, tout simplement fantastique! Nous avons été très bien servi, le tout dans un magnifique service doré. Le choix d'éclairs est à faire rêver, nous avions trop de choix pour notre estomac. Nous avons finalement opté pour celle au citron, lime & meringue, juste ce qu'il faut d'acidité & de saveur, la Mont Royal totalement gourmande & à découvrir pour les amateurs de chocolat, puis celle au caramel & fleurs de sel. Nous avions fait la route de St-Jean pour y découvrir l'endroit & nous avons été comblé dans nos attentes. 🥰
Les éclairs étaient corrects mais sans plus. Il manquait un peu de saveur dans la crème, ou le goût d'oeuf était trop présent. Mais c'est un pâtisserie bien propre.

These eclairs are amazing! It's been so long since I've found a good eclair. The Mont Royal (traditional chocolate eclair) was out of this world! The owners were so gracious & friendly too. If you love eclairs, this is the place for you! If you don't love eclairs, you've never had a real one yet & you need to come here!

Tasty eclairs with the most beautiful presentation & plenty of unique flavors! I was hankering for a sweet treat & dropped by Mont Éclair on my way home from Plateau de Mont-Royale, & I was incredibly impressed! The shop is absolutely beautiful & decked out with all the cute, classy furniture & decor, & the staff is incredibly friendly. I was having a hard time deciding on which eclair I wanted to try, but the cashier recommended I test out their strawberry. It had a great balance of sweet & sour from the slightly acidic strawberry jam, & there was a great creamy component from the cream on top. I also love that it came with a tiny little pipette of extra strawberry sauce, which both leveled up the presentation & flavor.
I will admit that it was a tiny bit too sweet for me, even with the strawberry helping to balance out the flavor profile, but I think that's a challenge I have with all eclairs. It was a super tasty sweet treat, & I loved the space, so will definitely have to come back to try some of their other flavors.
