Mono is a fantastic sandwich spot in Montreal that's definitely worth a visit! The variety of sandwiches is impressive, each packed with fresh ingredients & bold flavors. I tried the Godfather sandwich, & it was absolutely delicious-perfectly seasoned & generously portioned. If you're a sandwich lover looking for something unique, Mono is a must-try!

The sandwiches here are delicious! Their ingredients are fresh, & they put a lot of care into making them. Also, they avoid using unhealthy stuff in their food. The staff are super welcoming & the atmosphere is warm. I never hesitate to go back when I get cravings.
Stopped in here to grab a quick lunch with some friends & had a great experience. The had various different ingredient combos to choose from or you could opt to build your own sandwich. We had the hulk, the godfather, & the chicken parm - all of the sandwiches came loaded & left us full (& happy). We sat outside on the patio which was nice to do in the summer but they have AC inside if you are looking to enjoy your sandwich away from the heat. Great place, definitely recommend.
Amazingly large & delicious sandwiches, & while waiting for our meal, he played Leonard Cohen for us! When one of our sandwiches somehow got left behind, when I called about it, they delivered it to us, & gave us extra brownies! Vist there if you want delicious sandwiches & terrific service.
Went there on my last day in Montreal as it had been recommended by my tour guide for tasty local food & gosh I wasn't disappointed! I only wish I had known about it sooner. Those sandwiches are point blank the best I've had in my life. I'm back home & days later I'm still thinking about that chicken parm.. As a bonus the people working there were simply adorable. The gentleman working at the cash gave me some very nice tips about the city. Will be the first place I have lunch at when I'm back in that wonderful city!!

Went this weekend with my wife. Sandwiches were delicious, I had the one with burrata & mortadella. Definitely can't find a sandwich like that around here so I'm happy this place exists. Staff being very friendly is a bonus
I'm giving an overall review of a 3 only because we got carry out to eat later & the staff is not willing to do any changes to their menu & WILL NOT put any sauces on the side. You can't even get a side of Mayo or mustard. The cashier did not speak English well so she kept going back to the guys in the kitchen & asking them to translate certain things, which was strange because my boyfriend speaks French but I'm not sure if she spoke French either, maybe she just didn't know how to answer us in general. We were so excited to try this place as we just finished a week in NYC & had some pretty amazing Italian sandwiches there. We visit family in Montreal regularly so we were hoping to put this place on our regular rotation. If your customer tells you they are going to eat the sandwiches later at the airport, when you literally had only one other customer sitting inside, why wouldn't you try to make their experience great? Why do you insist they get the sandwiches as is & allow the sandwich to get soggy & gross? It's a bad reflection on you & your food. If it was busy, I'd understand but not one person was behind us. & we only got 2 sandwiches so how hard is it to put your red pestomayo on the side for the DNA? Or the Tarramayo for the Monster on the side or the vinegar on the side? Ramikins aren't that expensive & your sandwiches aren't cheap so why wouldn't you be a bit flexible & put sauces on the side so your bread & sandwiches aren't wet & soggy if someone can't eat it within 10 minutes of getting it? The flavors were good, this place has potential but a restaurant who thinks their menu can't be adjusted at all because they think it's perfect how they created it is going to end up losing. Your taste isn't everyone's taste & there is no reason why a customer can't add or subtract sauces or items on your sandwiches or at least have a "create your own" option for those who may not like what you put on your sandwiches. Easy fix. Don't be those types of pretentious restaurant owners.
Huge sandwiches ideal for sharing ! They unfortunately can't be modified since they're ready beforehand, but still worth the try if any menu items interest you!
Good sandwich overall. I believe I got their godfather, & it was good. My only complaint would be the bread isn't amazing - it was a bit tough but nothing major. Just a heads up, their sandwiches are big & filling, so leave a good amount of room for yourself! Staff is nice & service was quick & convient. Overall a good spot downtown
what a place, big delicious sandwiches with a very reasonable price. they have cold & warm sandwiches. I personally prefer their cold sandwiches. I started talking to the owner & he is an extremely friendly guy. He gave me free fries & tiramisu. I was shocked. I couldn't believe it. I highly recommend this place.
Delicious sandwiches! Makes the perfect lunch. Service is great as you don't have to wait by the counter until your order is ready. We placed our orders & went to sit on their small terrace outside. They brought our food & drinks to our table very quickly.
I'm quite sad about this one because I heard many good things about it & it didn't live up to expectations. After 15 min waiting for our sandwich, they told us they didn't have the kind of chicken inside of one of the sandwiches we ordered. Then after almost another 15 min, we see two customers that arrived way later than us receive their order & leave - we were still waiting. So in total, we waited around 30 min for our sandwiches. The waitress was so nice & tried to give us multiple reasons, but unfortunately this is not something under her control. Probably never coming back :(
