Club
This sandwich shop was an AMAZING find. The McGill Debate Club organized a tournament with around 90 participants, & we needed reliable catering with vegetarian/vegan options.
When we called MONO, the employee was incredibly friendly & proactive in helping us figure out what would work best. I was put in contact with the owner, Sara, & we quickly found a great common ground. She was receptive, accommodating with dietary needs, & even offered free delivery. The Go Habs Go & the Lucie & Mom sandwiches were flavourful & fresh.
Our biggest fear was ending up with dry sandwiches, but it was the complete opposite: perfectly moist.
Thank you, MONO, for the fantastic service. We look forward to visiting the shop in person soon!
Discovering
We recently visited MONO Sandwicherie on Crescent Street while filming our Montreal Sandwich Challenge - & it quickly became one of our favorite downtown spots!
The atmosphere is stylish yet cozy, perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed coffee break right in the heart of Montreal. The staff were incredibly welcoming, & we loved the personal touch from Sarah, the owner's wife, who surprised us with an extra sandwich (thank you again! ).
Everything we tried was delicious, but we especially recommend the breaded chicken sandwich - crispy, flavourful, & perfectly balanced - & don't miss their fries with homemade sauce. Portions are generous, & the presentation matches the great taste.
If you're exploring downtown or just looking for a great local café with quality food & warm service, MONO is absolutely worth a stop. Highly recommended from Discovering Destinations!

Nice lunch spot! We grabbed a quick sandwich in a lettuce wrap & it was not disappointing. Sandwich was delightful & packed with lots of meat. Service was very good.

Stopped in here to grab a quick lunch with some friends & had a great experience. The had various different ingredient combos to choose from or you could opt to build your own sandwich. We had the hulk, the godfather, & the chicken parm - all of the sandwiches came loaded & left us full (& happy). We sat outside on the patio which was nice to do in the summer but they have AC inside if you are looking to enjoy your sandwich away from the heat. Great place, definitely recommend.

This sandwich was incredible! The bread was perfectly crispy, & the fresh ingredients were bursting with flavor. Every bite was a perfect balance of savory & satisfying. Highly recommend for a quick, delicious meal!

Good sandwich overall. I believe I got their godfather, & it was good. My only complaint would be the bread isn't amazing - it was a bit tough but nothing major. Just a heads up, their sandwiches are big & filling, so leave a good amount of room for yourself! Staff is nice & service was quick & convient. Overall a good spot downtown

Delicious sandwiches! Makes the perfect lunch. Service is great as you don't have to wait by the counter until your order is ready. We placed our orders & went to sit on their small terrace outside. They brought our food & drinks to our table very quickly.

My first stop in Montreal was MMFA so I went for a quick meal. Had a MASSIVE chicken sandwich (2 ppl size actually) & a cappuccino. More tasty than I expected. Went to say hi to the staff & they were so nice... The ciabatta made in house was amazing. Will come back with friends again, & more importantly, pls open your branch in Ontario!!! 😘

A Hidden Gem on Crescent Street - Mono Montreal I recently visited Mono Montreal & was pleasantly surprised by this charming sandwich spot tucked away on Crescent Street. Every bite was a delight-the beef was tender & flavorful, perfectly complemented by the creamy ricotta & the fresh burst of tomato. The pesto tied everything together beautifully, adding that extra layer of richness without overpowering the other ingredients. It's clear that the team at Mono Montreal takes pride in their sandwich creations, focusing on quality ingredients & balanced flavors. The Service: The staff were incredibly friendly, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed & well taken care of. It's not every day that you find a place where the staff genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, & it shows in the service they provide. The Ambiance: Mono Montreal has a nice, quiet location that's perfect for a relaxed meal. Whether you're looking to grab a quick bite or sit down & savor your sandwich, the atmosphere here is just right. The interior is cozy without being cramped, & the overall vibe is laid-back, making it an ideal spot to unwind. Final Thoughts: I can confidently say that Mono Montreal is a must-visit if you're in the area. The combination of fantastic food, friendly service, & a pleasant atmosphere makes it stand out. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu!

Delicious sandwiches, definitely some of the best in the city. I had the one with burrata pesto & chicken & it was amazing! Super friendly staff as well, quick & efficient service, & there is a sit down dining area if you want to eat in.

It was delicious & plentiful & the staff were super friendly & went above & beyond, I got them confused at the beginning when I saw they were big sandwiches I asked to eat there but have the packaging to take half home to go - long story short ... we sat & waited & our whole order was already packed to go but we wanted to eat there lol - anyways it was excellent very delicious I had the SE02 my date had the Godmother Hero Philly Cheese Steak - OMG THE BEST TASTING SANDWICHES 🥪 I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE & THE WAIT. Now they went above & beyond - they didn't have to, we were already more than satisfied but because there was a tiny mix up in communication at the beginning they surprised us with an amazing Oreo Blondie (brownie with white chocolate/cookie base). I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the sandwiches I was more into our conversation & then we quickly devoured them. But... I did get a great photo of the dessert I brought home.

Went for a quick lunch before visiting the museum Had the Green Chicken Parm Amazing!! The ingredients were fresh , bread was warm & the cheese melted perfectly I have never had a sandwich experience like this In the lower level of a heritage building with very chill decor Service fast & friendly Prices average for Montreal Highly recommend this place

We stopped in for lunch while in town for the day. It's a bit hard to spot from the street but definitely worth seeking out. Both our meals were delicious & we're still talking about the bread & freshness of ingredients. The flavours made our sandwiches disappear very quickly. Definitely on the list to visit again someday!

Amazing sandwiches & soup! The bread is a little crusty, but soft & there was a great amount of meat & toppings inside! The tomato soup had a lot of flavour & the service was friendly & quick!
