I went with my family to celebrate my fiance birthday. Wine selection is great . Ambiance is nice bit loud.
Food was good some dishes but other one not my kind of favorite. I definitely don't think is the best restaurant in montreal like people describe.
Came here for a friend's birthday. Spectacular food that really highlights regional ingredients. Attention to detail in every dish but also the service. Entire staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, & appropriately sociable with everybody. There is zero levels of pretension & they make sure you feel welcome & explain everything to you very warmly. One of the premier restaurant locations in Quebec, Montreal, & all of Canada.

Vin Mon Lapin truly delivers on what one could only describe as one of the best dining experiences in Montreal. It is not for no reason that reservations are so difficult to get your hands on.
The menu can only be described as a playground for hyperseasonal local produce. The food is highly creative, blending a variety of flavors & textures. Sweet, savoury, fragrant & acidic while creamy, juicy, chewy, & crispy. Every dish was perfectly balanced through the meticulous & thoughtful marriage of seasonal ingredients.
Service was equally impeccable. The staff was highly attentive & engaging. They were also knowledgeable on the menu & explained each dish with a passion that reflects a deep love for their craft & appreciation for the soil.
Overall, my experience with Vin Mon Lapin was splendid. Each dish was a burst of flavor that kept me wanting more. This is an establishment I truly believe deserves all the love & everyone must try once. I highly look forward to coming back again & tasting their culinary creations through all the seasons.
Make sure you make a reservation! The staff is amazing but I think I hyped myself up for this meal. Knowing that it's the second best Canadian restaurant, I thought it would be mind blowing. A lot of the food lacked seasoning & acidity & I was left disappointed.
✨ We had the most wonderful evening at Mon Lapin yesterday for my mother-in-law's birthday, & I can't stop thinking about it. From start to finish, everything was exceptional, the food, the wine, the atmosphere, & the hospitality.
Every dish was so beautifully prepared, layered with flavor & creativity while still feeling comforting & approachable. The staff made us feel truly celebrated - warm, attentive, & full of knowledge about the menu & wine pairings. The energy in the restaurant is both lively & intimate, making it the perfect place for a special occasion.
My in-law was absolutely delighted, & we all left with full hearts (& very happy stomachs!). We'll definitely be back soon.
I could cry writing this review! I've been waiting a year to get a reso here & it was well worth the wait. The food is incredible, but most of all the service is outstanding. Our waitress Fiona went above & beyond, as well as all the other waiters. We had such an amazing time, thank you so much & we will be back ❤?

Absolutely incredible. The vibe here is very cozy & warm. It's not a large restaurant & they encourage guests to spend time savouring, so if you make a reservation don't expect to be seated for about an hour afterwards. That said, the service when seated makes up for it.
We spent time enjoying a glass of wine & watching the chefs do their thing over the bar. When a table had cleared we ordered the tuna, scallop sandwiches (a must), somerset chicken, cod, & ricotta balls. Everything was so light yet packed so much for flavour. We actually made a second reservation while still at dinner.
Franchement déçu après avoir tant entendu parler de ce restaurant, je n'ai pas saisi ce qu'il y avait de si sensationnel…
J'ai trouvé au contraire le menu prétentieux, on s'y perd, le raffinement ce n'est pas du tout ça. On finit par commander 5 plats confus pour avoir toujours faim.

Très bien reçu & que dire du service impeccable. On a goûté à plusieurs plats qui étaient tous très bon. On a même fait un plat différent pour l'adapter à une alimentation spéciale. Belles petites attentions.

Dear people of VML, visiting your place was truly moving! We were totally unaware of how legendary you are as we walked in. We were in town for a few days to perform a show in Popolo, & just happened to walk past your beautiful spot. The care was felt right from the moment we entered. Entering through the curtains, it felt we were in for a performance. Just wow - the food was so imaginative & thoughtful. The wine was unique. The ambiance was so pleasant. & it felt like we were treated like family. The fact we could afford an experience as lovingly curated as yours is such a gift! Thank you!

Went here for a date night after having wanted to go for months. The ambiance is quite nice, especially the heated terrace outside. The food was good but not exceptional - surprising for a resto named one of the best in Canada. The real gem of the restaurant was the service though - all the wait staff were exceptional & it truly felt like a fine dining experience because of them!
For one of Canadas top restaurants, we had high expectations. The food was pretty good but nothing WOW. Thankfully we ordered the bread so had something to eat while we wait. For the price it's worth it but with the 30 minute in between each item(s), I'm not sure if I would come back.
J'ai passé un bon moment dans ce restaurant. Les ingrédients sont de bonne qualité & très bien travaillés. Les cuissons étaient réussies, ce qui a rendu chaque plat savoureux. La proposition de desserts étaient très intéressantes, souvent délaissés ailleurs, ici ils sont soignés & gourmands. Mention spéciale au gâteau au sarrasin, réellement incroyable !
Seul petit bémol, le croque pétoncle était malheureusement trop salé, ce qui cassait un peu l'équilibre du plat. Dommage, car tout le reste était d'un très bon niveau.

We had Rose as our server who thoroughly explained the menu in detail, offered great insights & made the entire experience that much better. The whole team, from start to finish, sets the standard for an incredible dining experience. Recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting great food, a fun & lively atmosphere & service that will ensure you're taken care of from start to finish.
