Je recommande fortement le Molenne. Ambiance décontractée & chaleureuse, parfait pour une date ou un souper entre amis. Les plats sont raffinés & mettent en valeur nos produits locaux. & que dire de la carte de vin, choisie avec soin & bon goût. Parfait resto de quartier à essayer dès que possible!

Adresse recommandée pour tout Montréalais qui se respecte!! Service impeccable & sommelier qui vous accompagne pour une expérience des plus savoureuses. Je suis allée à plusieurs reprises avec des groupes différents & à chaque fois l'équipe a su nous accommoder & nous délecter. Highlights: le chou braisé, les pâtes à l'oursin & le gâteau au Louis d'Or! Merci au Molenne!

We had to wait about an hour for our table, but the staff gave us a nice spot to stand & enjoy a cocktail while we waited, so it wasn't a big deal given the great atmosphere. The staff were friendly & welcoming, & the food was absolutely delicious. Even the cod, which I don't usually love, was incredible

Nous avons passé une agréable soirée. La nourriture était exceptionnelle, toutefois les quantités étaient très petites (à partager ou pas). Malheureusement, nous avons eu un service très décevant. Nous avons attendu plus de 45 min avant d'avoir un cocktail ou verre de vin. Nous étions en semaine & le restaurant n'était pas plein. Les assiettes ont été servi même avant d'avoir l'apéro. Nous nous sommes sentis, à 2 reprises, fortement recommandés de prendre 1 ou 2 assiettes supplémentaires…
Autrement, bravo au chef & à son équipe en cuisine & félicitations pour les choix locaux.

We tried most of the seafood, oysters were too small to taste, sea urchin were fairly sweet, little clams were covered with a spicy sauce, razor clam was the best in taste & portions, shrimps were fresh & tasty. The salad was good. The pinns cotta with grilled corns was a suprise.The waitress was great.

Superbe découverte ! Les plats sont raffinés, frais & savoureux, avec une belle mise en valeur des produits de la mer. Le service est attentionné, l'ambiance chaleureuse. Belle carte des vins. J'y retournerai certainement. À essayer!

we were a party of two on a friday evening, at the start of second service, & we were excited to try out molenne. unfortunately, the food & overall experience didn't quite live up to our expectations.

tldr, while our server was super nice & fun to joke around with, their explanation of the menu wasn't very enticing. the dull descriptions made the plates feel less appealing, which in turn made the experience of eating what should have been someone's inspired gastronomy feel unsatisfactory.

the wines by the glass were also quite limited. they had run out of their maceration by the glass & offered no alternatives, which was really disappointing for me. i ended up heading to plongeoir afterward to soothe my craving for a funky orange wine.

finally, the bussing & wait times were quite long. after finishing our first course, we stacked our dirty plates & utensils in the corner of the table to make things easier, but they sat there for what felt like 15 minutes.

Such a lovely space. Chic couples who
look like they stepped off of a fashion show runway rub shoulders with families in jeans & baseball caps, & the service is attentive & helpful regardless. Most of the dishes are fresh & creative although some were a little too on the sweet side for our liking, like the sea urchin gnocchi, while others, like the halibut cheek marinated in olive oil with wild mushrooms were pure genius. Really impressed by the wine list which was affordable & included really interesting local wine. & the dessert-the cheesecake in particular: simple, rich, delicious. Maybe a bit too much of a splurge to go more than once or twice a year, but definitely worth a return. visit..

Service impeccable, ambiance branchée mais conviviale. Pour la cuisine, mon avis est moins tranché : oui, c'est bon, indiscutablement (morue charbonnière particulièrement réussie, tartare de thon, palourde casino, gâteau basque au fromage) & le choix de vins est étoffé mais mon convive & moi avons trouvé l'expérience onéreuse pour l'expérience globale.

Belle découverte! Plats soignés en goût, textures & recherches! On voit ici que tout a été bien pensé pour nous servir des plats savoureux & avec produits locaux (Québécois), c'est très apprécié!!! Vraiment je vous le conseille fortement! Service hyper chaleureux & professionnel! Belle ambiance, décor feutré & très chaleureux!!

La truite charbonnée est une tuerie …
Peut être un peu plus de cuisson pour le lit de salsifis
En entrée je recommande les couteaux & les huîtres
Ambiance sympa mais un peu bruyante
Une solution: baisser un peu la musique de fond que personne n'écoute vraiment 😉
Je reviendrai & je recommencerai l'endroit à des amis

Had my eye on this place for a little while since I knew Miro was involved (used to be at Damas). That meant the wine list would be great & it was. Small but charming place with cozy leather banquettes, very French but unpretentious. Food was amazing, some original twists on some classic favourites. The scallop crudo in raspberry water & the tuna tartare in a melon sauce were absolutely crazy & I also recommend the cod in shitake bouillon. The service was on par with the fantastic dishes. It felt like they were only serving us, our needs were met without asking & they weren't pushy with the bill. Very friendly, taking a minute to be chatty, explaining dishes well. Very attentive, friendly & relaxed. I want to tell everyone about one of my favourite restaurants

Service hors pair de François.
Cuisine très raffinée. On a particulièrement adoré la tartelette de mousse de foie de canard, les betteraves glacées & le couteau de mer.
