Avant de parler food, je mettrai l'accent sur le service impeccable qu'offre Molenne. Du début a la fin on est accompagné par leur personnel dévoué & qualifié, ce qui fait pour ma part 50% de l'expérience.
L'ambiance etait calme & conviviale, musique discrète.
Ensuite, il y a la qualité des ingrédients. Quelle fraîcheur! & les agencements sont parfait! Du début a la fin nous avons été surpris. Nous avions pris le menu dégustation a 120$/ personne.

Il y avait beaucoup de bonnes choses! Les serveurs hyper gentils mais tellement déçue du homard Thermidor, pour 55$ un minuscule demi homard, que trois bouchées! Accompagnement: deux genres de bisquick arrosés de sauce. Ça semble avoir été mis dans l'assiette pour satisfaire notre estomac tant que le homard était minuscule. Dommage!
Absolutely outstanding! Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The food was incredibly fresh & beautifully presented - every dish looked & tasted amazing. The service was exceptional from start to finish, & I have to give a huge shoutout to the big homie Gia! I accidentally left my sunglasses behind, & he personally delivered them back to me. That level of care & thoughtfulness is rare. Highly recommend this place - we'll definitely be back!

Ambiance générale & nourriture bien par contre la serveuse un peu condescendante dans ses commentaires. Attitude ordinaire & un peu plate. Au début, je me demandais si je me faisais des idées alors j'allais demandé à la personne qui m'accompagnait mais celle ci m'a
devancé en disant qu'elle trouvait la serveuse légèrement désagréable aussi. En revanche le jeune homme qui aidait au service était très poli & professionnel.
We came in late at night & were absolutely shocked by Molenne. From the service to the quality of the dishes, I cannot recommend a place more. The caviar, sea urchins & oysters were to die for! Thank you again to François for the late night snack!
The food was REALLY disappointing, very flavourless, cold & overpriced. The wait was ridiculous, we were there 3 hours for a set menu, waiting up to 1 hour between dishes. I think the point is for you to drink more, but it also comes from being badly organized. The food came out cold & it was honestly surprising to taste such bad & odd flavour profiles, even the sea food platter was disappointing. The wine wasn't great either. I chose this restaurant for a special occasion for my wife's birthday & ended up bitterly regretting my decision to try Molenne, it was very very expensive for one of the worst meal we had ever had.
I would absolutely avoid this place, I'm frankly surprised it's still open.
Second time going to Molenne & I felt like I had to leave a review. The staff is attentive, & sweet. The meal is always impeccable & honestly priced :) a definite go-to if you're looking for fresh ingredients & a cute vibe.
I went to this restaurant looking to try something new in Montreal, & I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm & welcoming. The space feels cozy/elevated. It's lively but still intimate enough for a conversation.
We ordered the tuna tartare, bison tartare, cod, oxtail cannoli, potatoes, & a blueberry dessert. The food took waaaay too long to arrive-servers apologized, but no adjustment was made for the wait. (We arrived at 8:30 & around 10pm we still haven't received our main & at midnight I was eating dessert)
That said… the food was beautiful. This was easily one of the best meals I've had in Montreal in a very long time. Where looking at about 200$ without drinks & worth every single penny. However, they would need to work on offering better service to enhance the dinning experience.
Une équipe jeune & dynamique qui a lancé avec succès ce resto il a quelques mois. J'ai adoré la finesse de la cuisine & l'accueil relax & élégant à la fois. Mon meilleur resto à Montréal en 2026 for sure ! MERCI !
