Favorites include butter chicken and naan, with the breads frequently praised for flavor. Palak Paneer and other vegetarian options are also highlighted as standouts, and several reviews call it the best Indian food in the area. Service is consistently described as friendly and attentive, though at peak times wait times can be longer and service may feel rushed. Ambience is described as small and cozy with dim lighting, and the compact space is noted as not a problem by many, though parking can be challenging. I dont usually do good reviews. It's expected to be good when you pay a fortune now a days. It should always be great service & very tasty, but tonight. Wow. The butter chicken was amazing. Thr beef was amazing. Even the veggies were good. Thr Naan bread amazing. It felt a little rushed. But we walked in 45 min before closing. All around I'll give this place a 4.8 out of 5. I'll diffinitly be returning. Thanks to the restaurant next door (le blue) who after 40 minutes of sitting their with 0 service.... I got up & walked out starving.... luckily. I would never of found this gem..I'll be back for sure. I have eaten Indian food all across montreal south shore & Toronto. This was thr best Indian food I've had.

Their tandoori chicken was really good. The only reason I am giving 2 stars, the food was really bland & the vegetables had way too much oil & lacked flavor & salt.

Tasty & tender lamb curry, the butter chicken in particular was outstanding. Not sweet like many others we've tried. Had deeper, more complex flavours. Delicious aloo ghobi on the side & 2 nan, all for $71 tax in is well worth it, in my opinion, especially as it's BYOB & they do not charge a corking fee (& the SAQ is conveniently 2 blocks away).

I do not understand people who complain the portions are small. They are standard size. Those 3 dishes plus the nan (which is already included with the curries) were more than enough for 2 people.

We bantered with the waiters who were warm & welcoming, & when it was time to pay, it was quick & efficient. & free, easy to find parking all around the area. Definitely going back.

The waiter never offered to open our wine bottle & to serve us some wine. It took almost 10 minutes before someone came to the table to see how we were doing. Instead of asking us if we were done with our appetizers BEFORE bringing the main meal, the waiter took the appetizer plates & said he had to serve the main meal right away (& already had the plates with him) or it would get cold. I felt rushed. I ordered lamb biryani & the waiter never asked how spicy I wanted the meal. The meal was quite spicy. That said, the mixed appetizers, butter chicken & lamb were excellent.

Too long & not enough food ... One hour to be served & small plates with a lot of dressing & a lot of rice but very few chicken... Dommage...
Too long & not enough food ...

Food was excellent as usual but the prices are substantially higher than other Indian restos in the area. Butter chicken is $22 vs $15 at Le Tandoo

We had 3 a la carte dishes : the Butter chicken, the Madras lamb & a mixed vegetable dish. The butter chicken was the only dish that dissapointed as it was under spiced & just overall bland.

The Madras was excellent with a very nice kick & the vegetable dish was excellent as well. Great ambience as well being in the St-Lambert village & all. As an Indian restaurant on the south shore, it's pretty good though a tad on the expensive side considering the same meal can be had for almost half the price in Park EX but then again, this is in St-Lambert. Recommended except for the Butter Chicken.
