On a adoré. Elle a pris les gnocchis (les meilleurs de sa vie). J'ai pris les campanelle au homard (délicieux, dans une sauce à base de bisque).
Luca, extrêmement sympathique, est venu jaser & recevoir nos commentaires.
🙌Très belle première expérience! Service chaleureux impeccable. La nourriture était délicieuse! Meilleurs arancini ever, & que dire des pâtes farcies aux morilles & du homard grillé! On nous a apporté suffisamment de foccacia pour ne pas gaspiller les délicieuses sauces qui restaient dans nos assiettes!😋 On nous a proposé des vin nature, & l'accord etait parfait! Le tout avec des prix abordables. Merci pour tout & à bientôt!🙏
Incredible pasta & delicious Italian dishes, we tried the gnocchi, the tonarelli, a couple entrees & the beef with vermouth sauce & all of it was amazing, the staff was nice & kind with excellent recommendations on food & wine, overall an amazing evening & will definitely be back!
After a less satisfying dinner Casavant another night, I reined in my expectation for the dinner at Moccione, but this restaurant delivered on all front. The decor actually look similar to that of Casavant, but bigger with more table seating. Service was miles better with really pleasant staff working together to take care of the guests. The food is very flavorful & generous in portion - beef tarter starter was exceptional, & trout main dish melted on touch. My Guinea fowl main dish was huge, while the game meat was lean & tight, the cavadose sauce along with the variety of vegetables blend so well together, offering a very unique celebration of taste.
Would be on my recommendation list for Montreal.
Went twice & it was undeniably delicious, but a bit pricey & maybe a tad bit overrated. My main disappointment are the portions, maybe I expected more for the price but I understand why it's highly adored, everything is perfectly executed from the sauce to the texture of the fresh pasta... Really can't deny how the flavors were on point, but for the price I am not inclined to go back. (Photos from 2024.)

Les entrées sont très bonnes, les pâtes, ben c'est des pâtes avec d'la sauce. Service très rapide au début (avec l'entrée qui arrive en même temps que les cocktails), & très (très très) lent après.
& bruyant!!!
(& mal assis. Ne venez pas à 3, vous aurez la pire table)
Excellent food in a small neighborhood restaurant. They recommend 1 appetizer & 1 main course per person. The crudo was absolutely amazing, & their home made focaccia was well appreciated to soak all the leftover sauce in the plate.
They have a very nice cocktail & wine list that we plan on exploring further during our next visits.
Highly recommended.
Great experience overall! Lovely vibe, service, people are nice, but the food perhaps didn't match the hype. Fried fish it self was great, but the mayo sauce was way too acidic; it eclipsed the rest. The squash was very tasty, probably the best dish that night in terms of overall execution. Well balanced & fun smoky flavours with light acidity from the mayo. Focaccia was great, but very small portions. The gnocchi was delicious, great flavour. But the issue was textural. I could feel the grain of the Parmesan, & when the gnocchi is soft, it kind of goes against the dish. Octopus was very filling & a good portion, but it was a slightly overcooked. The olive oil cake was wow! Loved it!!! Overall, had a great time! Small hiccups here & there, but I think I'd return.
Nous avons commandé deux plats de pâtes, celle du jour & celle à la bolognaise & les deux étaient vraiment délicieux quoique les portions quand même petites pour le prix de l'assiette. Le Mocktail au gin maison était vraiment délicieux. Un petit bémol serait probablement la foccacia qui ne ressemblait pas vraiment à une foccacia. C'était plus des bouts de pain maigres & sec. Autrement, notre serveuse au bar était super sympathique, nous avons eu un excellent service. Pour terminer, le dessert à l'huile d'olive était bon, sans plus, & il y avait beaucoup trop de sauce dans le fond de l'assiette. Super expérience quand même & le décor est tres charmant! Je reviendrai
