I've been coming to this place since I was a teenager & always had good experiences, especially with a male server who was kind & provided excellent customer service.

Unfortunately, my visit yesterday was completely different.
The lady with the glasses was extremely unprofessional. When I spoke to her, she seemed annoyed & didn't respond, so I repeated myself several times thinking she hadn't heard me. She then replied very rudely, saying:'Je t'ai entendu.' I'm not your friend, neither your son. Have some manners. This was completely uncalled for.

Throughout our visit, no one came to check on us. We had to call her several times just to get service. No water was offered, no check-ins, nothing.

At one point she even commented,'Ça paraît que vous avez jamais été serveur,' which was disrespectful & unnecessary.

Regarding the tip: tipping is based on service & is not mandatory.

Despite the poor service, we still left 10%. She then complained, assuming it should have been calculated after tax, which is incorrect.

When we tried to explain calmly, on why her attitude wasn't the best' she shut down the conversation by saying,'On va pas continuer,' even though she was the one who initiated the confrontation.

This is not how customers should be treated.

Management seriously needs to address this, because this kind of behaviour drives loyal customers away. As a business owner of a restaurant myself, this staff would surely get fired on the spot.

Tastefully decorated restaurant. Dining area seemed clean. The service was attentive but not overly done. Ordered a medium supersized smokemeat plate & it arrived nedium cut but the portion was anemic. I counted around 8 slices. I asked someone else in our group who ordered the same thing & received the same complaint. Three other members ordered the poutine & all were not satified by it. I asked them why but they did not elaborate.
I'll give it one more chance.

For real i went there at Christmas over 15 years i have not bin there & it was realy nice to find it was just as good the type of place you can go to & enjoy withe the family

Si le goût d'un bon smoked meat vous prends, c'est l'endroit parfait ! Établi depuis plusieurs années, j'y allais enfant voilà plus de 45 ans ! (sous différents noms & différent emplacement au fil des années) mais toujours le même bon goût ! Je recommande fortement.

C'était bon & dans les prix, cependant à mon entrée je me suis sentie vraiment dévisager par certains membres du restaurant … sauf que par après lorsque nous étions assis on a été vraiment bien servie. Merci à la serveuse Line pour son beau sourire, son humeur contagieuse & surtout son service incroyable!

J'adore leurs pizzas, ils viennent de déménager dans de nouveau locaux à moins de 100 mètres d'où ils étaient avant. Propre, bon service & tout est incroyablement bon! Grosse portion à un prix correct.

New location but prices remained the same. Two adults can still enjoy a breakfast without breaking the 🐷 piggy bank!
Clean restaurant. Waitress seemed a bit off (maybe having a bad morning?). Had to ask multiple times for missing items.
