I tried different shawarmas, potatoes, fatteh, tabbouleh, chich barak. They were very tasty, the sauce, the spices everything is wow BUT the portions are pretty small I would have given it a 5/5 if the portions were bigger 🌯🍽️👍
Par hasard, je suis passé devant ce restaurant & j'ai découvert le meilleur shawarma que j'ai mangé à Montréal. Je vous recommande vivement cet endroit !
4 mezze formula with beef shawarma. Exceptional taste. Authentic & fresh. The 4 mezze bowls are a generous serving, even for the very hungry
Amazing place! I had avoided coming here because I thought it would be bad, since it was on crescent...but i was missing out! The food is incredible, so fresh & full of flavours, & portions are really good. It felt like we were eating high end Lebanese food but I enjoyed the laid back vibe....& the staff is INCREDIBLY nice. Oh, & the taste of the shawarma was just out of this world it deserves an honourable mention! This has become one of my favourite places in Montreal now. I'll definitely come back when I visit.
I ordered a formula of shawarma, made me feel like i was back home. Service was great, the person at the cashier was very helpful, & recommended me the shawarma formula which was amazing.
Very nice & clean place! The staff were also nice. We tried the shawarma & felafel. So good. Recommend to give it a try.
The Falafel plate (with fattoush salad) & Zaatar bread was just 10/10. However the chicken shawarma could be better (chicken didn't taste super fresh 😔) There are nonsense homeless people who enter the premise & try to push people around(while standing in the payment queue). Kinda scary situation. 😔
The place looks cool. The food was alright but nothing special. Pricewise it is very expensive. I ended up paying 40$ tax & tip included for a shawarma chicken trio with halloumi!!! That is alot of money just for this meal.
The only place in Montréal that Indulge in the flavors of Lebanon at this charming restaurant. From aromatic spices to fresh ingredients, that's a Lebanese cuisine. I was really impressed about the taste, honestly! especially the beef Shawarma, zaatar potato, & the fresh fatouch. The kafta sandwich is also tasty, & I have no comments on it! But I didn't really enjoy the chicken sandwich because the garlic overwhelm the delicate balance of other ingredients, masking their natural taste. Consider toning down the garlic sauce to allow the flavors of the sandwich to shine.... because the only thing you taste is garlic, even i couldn't even taste the pickles inside of it... Concerning the price, it's a bit expensive ! 35$ for a trio is not that tempting to come back on a daily basis, but comparing to the quality i can understand. That's what i had so far, but definitely i will go back to try the brunch menu.
The food is so delicious & the staff are very welcoming & friendly, this was my first time eating from here & now it's my favorite shawarma in Montreal, I got a chicken shawarma trio which came with a small garlic dip, drink, & small potato which I really wish it was French fries instead but it was delicious anyway, A bit pricy but overall worth it
Omg , the food is so good , we had the beef shawarma mignon , the garlic is a REAL garlic sauce & is excellent , potatoes miam miam , & to top it off everything is compostable , definetly recommend
It was our first visit at Mezzmiz but we will be going back for sure. We loved the atmosphere & the food was very good (we had shawarma, tabbouleh, & hummus . Everything was delicious especially the hummus). Staff were very friendly. 5 stars & recommended.
When it comes to the cold plates, Mezzmiz hits jackpot. The hot plates, or proteins as they call it, are a hit or miss. The chicken is the best. The beef is the same flavour as the pre-seasoned beef shawarma you get at Adonis or Mizan & the kebab with tomato sauce is mediocre at best. Fattouch is amazing, tabbouleh needs a little bit of extra love when dicing the parsley. In terms of consistency, there are some inconsistencies, for example, we got pomegranate on our plate one day but not the other. My biggest concern is the price of the drinks, it is INSANE. A coke & an ayran were edging the $10 mark. In summary, don't let the size of the plates fool you. They might look small yet they are pretty filling.
The shawarma tasted really good, however the potatoes were very dry. The atmosphere is good, nice & clean. However the food is very overpriced. I am definitely not coming back for those prices.
