Mezcla is Montreal's only Peruvian omakase, created by Chef Marcel Larrea in the heart of Old Montreal. Hidden within our sister restaurant Capisco, it's a room within a room — guests pass through Capisco to reach the space where the evening begins.

Served as an 8-course chef's choice menu, the experience unfolds like a culinary journey through Peru — finely crafted textures, visually striking plates, and bold, distinct flavors. In an intimate, contemporary setting, Mezcla invites guests to trust the chef and discover Peru one course at a time.

First & foremost- AMAZING food! Hats off to the chef & kitchen staff. We went for an intimate date night. It is a small setting, & would be great if it were treated as such. But, it wasn't. While we were there a couple other tables had larger groups that were quite loud & really diminished the overall feel of the evening, not a fault of the restaurant. However, with the chef(owner?) coming out & bringing shots & bottles to these tables it just got worse. Some inclusivity or acknowledgment of the two couples trying to have a quiet date night would've gone a long way there…..

What a hidden gem! Behind the little secret door inside Capisco is Mezcla, a cozy private restaurant that feels like discovering a secret.
The food was absolutely delicious & beautifully presented,every dish was made with so much care & attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, & truly one of a kind.
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, I highly recommend Mezcla. I'll definitely be coming back!

We had the privilege of dining at this relatively new restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. Small, intimate setting with highly personalized service. The food is a feast for the tastebuds. Authentic Peruvian dishes with an international twist. We left satisfied & full.

I took a gamble on a blind tasting menu at a brand-new restaurant with very few reviews, booking it for a girls' night out to celebrate a birthday-& it paid off beautifully.

The food was the first revelation. Every course was exceptional, layered with bold, thoughtful flavours that completely won us over. Each dish felt intentional & confident, showcasing both creativity & restraint.

The service deserves equal praise. The staff struck that rare balance of being warm, knowledgeable, & attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Each dish was explained with care & enthusiasm, & the pacing of the evening felt effortless-attentive, but never rushed. There was a quiet elegance to how well we were looked after.

Then there's the space itself: small, intimate, & inviting without tipping into stuffy or predictable. It's the kind of room that makes you want to linger. The drinks were well crafted & refreshingly well priced, which only added to the overall sense that this restaurant knows exactly what it's doing.

Right now, it still feels like a hidden gem-but once word gets out, securing a table here is going to be a challenge. If you can, go sooner rather than later.
