Let's say the real things about this place: (+) Food is quite good & well presented. Some pastries were however too much cooked. (+) Eating outside is pleasant. (-) Service is too long (3.5 hours for table d'hôte 3 services). It was actually 4 services but our group had enough waiting for the 4th (trou normand) However we were a group of 16 people on a beautiful Saturday at noon, which makes it understandable. (-) Parking spaces are limited. Shouldn't be always the case. (--) Everything is simply too expensive (eg standard bread loaf 10$, passion fruit ice cream small pot 25$, cookies 5$ each, table d'hôte 60$, all that before tax & tip). My opinion is that the quality of the food, although good, isn't worth such a price.Voir plus
Nous avons pris la truite, une viennoiserie de même qu'un pain aux noix. La nourriture était délicieuse, mais le service n'était pas optimal & les prix étaient un peu cher (10$ pour une miche de pain). Tout était délicieux par contre !Voir plus

Un peu plus long en période achalandée comme c'est un incontournable de la région, mais comme ça vaut la peine! De la nourriture qu'on ne voit nulle part ailleurs & une équipe souriante & dévouée! Worth the trip from Montreal! We visited in September 2024, & overall, it's a nice place. The parking lot was a bit of a downside, as it turns into mud when it rains, which is a major drawback. The entrance area doesn't give off the best first impression - it could be more lively (though it might be too late for changes now). However, once inside, it's great! Seeing the clean & organized kitchen on your way to the seating area was a nice touch. The seating area itself is spacious & bright, with large windows providing a pleasant view. The portions are filling, & the croissants & cookies at the front were delicious. Be aware that some items might not be halal, so it's a good idea to ask while ordering. They are accommodating & can remove ingredients if necessary. The staff speaks English, which is a plus. Also, refills for tea & coffee are free after the first round. The music was enjoyable but a bit loud - it made conversation difficult at times. We were lucky to hear some instrumental tunes with Anatolian vibes, which added a nice touch. The washrooms were clean, & the menu items were tasty. Prices are around $30 per person. Definitely worth a visit - I recommend it!Voir plus
I had the pleasure of visiting Merci la Vie & I can honestly say this place is a true example of "if you build it, they will come." The food is beyond incredible-creative, fresh, & filled with unique flavors that leave you craving more. Every dish they serve is a work of art, & it's clear they take pride in delivering quality with every bite. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this bakery is worth the trip. Le repas était très bon. Le lieux & établissement sont magnifique. L'attente à été longue mais courtoise sûrement victime de leur succès. Difficile d'avoir une place de stationnement. Dans l'ensemble je recommande mais ne soyez pas pressé sinon votre patience pourrait être affecté.Voir plus

Endroit splendide, la nourriture était excellente & le staff très pro & accueillant. Malheureusement, il a fallu attendre 1h15 pour recevoir notre pizza.. l'espace & le projet sont vraiment géniaux, mais cette ombre est venue quelque peu pâlir le tableau jusqu'alors idyllique.
