We opened our first cafe in 2013 with the mission of offering specialty coffee in a warm and inclusive environment.
During our expansion, we quickly understood that as a company, our central commitment was to our employees. It is with them and thanks to them that everything else is possible.
Melk Café is described as a cozy, small spot with a warm vibe and friendly service where both coffee and pastries often shine. Reviewers praise the scones, especially the everything bagel with cream cheese, the lemon cherry, and the chocolate varieties, and the matcha and lavender lattes; fresh batches are noted to come out throughout the day. Coffee quality is seen as excellent by many, with standout lattes and espresso drinks, though a few visits mention a flat or milk-forward cup and some say the roast lacks depth or the price is high. The atmosphere is charming and intimate, making it a good place to work or enjoy a quick visit, but the tight space can feel crowded or noisy during peak times with limited seating. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the cafe is regarded as a hidden gem with a reputation for good beans and quick service, though some guests would welcome more comfortable seating and a calmer environment.
Service could be improved. The cashier didn't greet or say anything. Only responded when I asked her questions. Dine-in orders were prepared in takeout cups without asking.
I know this Cafe from day one it has always been a pleasure to enjoy great coffee friendly service & great home made style snacks with a delicious twist . The owner really puts his heart into it & you can experience the wonderful results. Don't stop doing what you're passionate about! Thank you for sharing your passion!

Coffee was good! I loved the overall aesthetic of the Cafe. Very comfortable & cozy with a fair amount of seating for people even though the overall area was rather small.
Loved the location, perfect as I am staying directly by it at the Sheraton. I would come back & try other items on the menu!
if i could put 0 stars i would . The barista was so mean & rude to us even though she did our order wrong. We told her politely to change it she was so rude to us she said : Oh i will change it AGAIN . & my matcha was only milk it tasted horrible . So rude i am very disappointed.
Their matcha latte & scones are simply the best. They bake several batches of fresh scones throughout the day. The cheddar, everything bagel with cream cheese, & chocolate blueberry scones are just so good. You do need to go in early though as after 2pm they are usually all sold out. Worth the trip!

Come for the scones. There's coffee too, but the espresso falls flat. There's no depth to the roast. It's easy drinking you could say. Coffee for the non-coffee drinker. The everything scone tho… it's a thing of beauty. Wasn't expecting the cream cheese baked into it. Wonderful touch. The dough was a bit overworked & tough but that's a small nitpick on a great offering. Will come back for another.
