The quality of the coffee in my iced vanilla latte was great. It could have been a bit sweeter for my personal taste, but I'll just ask for an extra pump next time. Overall a great spot!
Food:
MELK was a great coffee stop. The mochaccino was smooth, rich, & not overly sweet, with really nice latte art on top. The matcha was also excellent, bright, creamy, & clean without being bitter. The croissant was the standout food item, with a deep golden crust, crisp flaky layers, & that buttery center you want from a good café pastry.
Service:
Everything was quick & easy, & the drinks came out looking as good as they tasted.
Summary:
A really solid Montréal café. Great mochaccino, great matcha, & a legitimately good croissant. Simple, polished, & absolutely worth stopping in.
Really good coffee, sweet cafe, lovely fresh breakfast scones & muffins
Staff were friendly & attentive they have the best scones in Montreal I highly recommend all bagels scones for savory & the dark chocolate for sweet but all scones I've tried are pretty delicious unfortunately their white chocolate & cherry scones are no longer available which was my favorite.
Such a cool little cafe. It has a nice amount of seating, including benches with a table, seats with a table, & bar type seats.
The pomme scone was delicious, & the brownie was perfection.
The latte was really nice, but the maple latte was the perfect amount of sweet & not overwhelming. I will go back for that latte alone!
They have a good variety of drinks at a reasonable price. The people working there were super kind. They speak English & French perfectly. We were able to switch between the two languages flawlessly.
They will be seeing my partner & I again!
Overall, not bad. Better than Starbucks!
The matcha is good, but it was overpriced considering I ordered a large iced coffee & matcha, & the matcha cup was smaller.
The'bio-milk' they use is nothing special besides your regular grocery, affordable milk. At the very least, I thought it would be one of those fancy, expensive grocery milks.
The pastries are also good, but are just a bit too sweet for my taste.
The vibes are cute & cosy, but small.
A cozy spot for an afternoon coffee or matcha. The staff are very nice & remembers my preferences. It can get super busy in the morning of work days. I would probably not come during that time, because the line can get quite long & the wait time as well. Their cookies are also quite tasty. They pair well with their Latte, but maybe a bit too sweet when eaten by themselves.
I liked the banana bread ,it was not too sweet , & the oat milk latté was great! You take your coffee from the counter & find a spot to sit down. Washroom is located outside of the coffeeshop, in a public parking lot ,which I didn't find it convenient as it was not clean!
Cute cafe with cute aesthetics. Their matcha latte is pretty good. My go-to is getting it with almond milk & less sweet. Pretty tempted to get some merch here as well.
