About us
McLean's has become a landmark bar and restaurant in the downtown core of Montreal with its authentic Irish Pub atmosphere. McLean's a wide array of food dishes and a wide selection of imported and domestic beers. McLean's pub-style decor provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy all the latest sporting events on one of the many big screen satellite TV's positioned all around the bar. A mix of student/sports bar. Service is ok. Gets pretty busy & has poor ventilation. Food is what you would expect. Overall a good place to catch the fight.

In their website it says happy hour from 5-7, but when we asked the waitress about it, she said they don't (& not in a polite way). She also expected us to just order in a second & when we asked just one question about the taste of their beer, she was rude.

Nice place, but I did find it a little pricey compared to other pubs, & the pool tables were 3$ a game

Sehr gute Bedienung, wir haben Hilfe bei der Bierauswahl bekommen samt 2 Probier-Gläschen ohne Aufpreis. Dazu hatten wir Poutine, klassisch gut. Schöne Pub Atmosphäre, Toiletten sauber. Sehr faire Preise noch dazu. Alles super, klare Empfehlung!

Très bel endroit. L'atmosphère qui s'en dégage est vraiment agréable : bois, plafonds hauts. Un côté authentique qui fait du bien.

Unexpected was the full contemporary country playlist but the service was great, drinks were good & the prices were right. Unfortunately it was late at night so the kitchen was closed. The menu looked very appetizing. Had to go next door to grab some food.

We were promptly seated & given menus. We waited what we thought was a decent amount of time for the server to take our order. When she finally did all went smoothly & we were brought our drinks. But then we waited & waited some more. No busboy, no server. About 40 minutes in the server came to us to ask us how our food was. We explained we hadn't received it yet & she apologized & went to find out what happened. Great. Turns out our food was given to the wrong table. We reordered & it still took 30 more minutes to get our food. Not a great first visit. I understand errors happen, but it still took her 40 minutes to come & even check on us. We also had to seek out our bill when we wanted to leave as the server was nowhere to be seen.

치즈버거+푸틴, 펍 스페셜 맥주. 첫 푸틴이였는데 맛있었고, 펍 분위기와 서비스가 인상깊었음. 평일 오후인데 단골 손님이 꽤 있음.

Good venue & location, average food...ate better elsewhere, table service terrible...only one person covering whole front of house...the poor lass was run off her feet, needed support from bar or a second server. After we were served, at least 2 other groups sat then left due to excessive wait to be served. No tip ❎

A spacious & affordable pub in a good location. They have a good variety of beer. We also ordered the red wine sangria & it was amazing. The fries were also good. The staff are friendly to tourists.

Avoid ordering the fish & & chips - too much batter & the fish was rubbery... The wings were delicious, & so was the Ceasar salad.
