McLean's has become a landmark bar and restaurant in the downtown core of Montreal with its authentic Irish Pub atmosphere. 2 nice billiard tables. Nice beers. There is an ATM downstairs to withdraw money for the billiard, but the service fee was horrendous (12$ for the mini.u. withdrawl of 20$)
EDIT FOLLOWING OWNER'S REPLY: Thanks, Stuart. Unfortunately, it was not 3$, but 12$ fee, I double-checked. However, if you're sure & I am the only one having this issue, then you're probably right about the 3$ on your ATM & the other 9$ must have been caused by my bank for some reason?! Anyhow, we had a lovely evening!
Perfect pub atmosphere. Football was on, dim lighting, good beer. Bartender was friendly, as well as some of the regulars.
You'll wanna try the chilli dog- it's delicious.
Watch out for the beers though, some of the prices can sneak up on ya.

Stav was the absolute best! Took care of us & the whole bar & restaurant. Great experience! If you visit Montreal don't leave without visiting McLeans Pub!
This wayyyyy exceeded our expectations. We came in for some standard pub food in a pinch & were both astounded. My burger was massive & tasted really fresh & my wife's chicken tikka was perfect. Radishes & microgreens in the salad & everything. Awesome service too, thank you Chemika!!

Le pub est très agréable. Les plats & boissons variées. Je ne mets que 4 étoiles car cela peut être extrêmement bruyant parfois (soir de match). Je recommande pour l'ambiance & le service !
