McLean's has become a landmark bar and restaurant in the downtown core of Montreal with its authentic Irish Pub atmosphere. McLean's a wide array of food dishes and a wide selection of imported and domestic beers. McLean's pub-style decor provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy all the latest sporting events on one of the many big screen satellite TV's positioned all around the bar. Ready Set Meh.
Good place to grab beer but don't expect much if you're hungry. Fish & chips had very thick almoat pastry like breading. Fries were ok. Hubby had hot dog poutine. Gravy was good. Very little hot dog. Friendly service.

Steph served us with a big smile, great food & ambiance as always since this is my go to bar. Everything was good until the cheque came out. I was charged 37 dollars for a small regular poutine & a pint of Budweiser. I initially asked to see why i was charged so much & she apologized saying she misunderstood for a bigger pint. I was cool with that & paid & didn't give her a hard time about it. When I exited the building my friends told me they paid an outrageous price too, then we calculated our bills & realized our server Steph decided to give her a generous 23% tip. I'm a big tipper usually but come on 23%? For a loyal repeat customer too? This is a first for me

Came for the food, stayed for the vibes!

The bacon poutine? Next level amazing. We tried the butter chicken pizza too--sounds wild, tastes awesome.

Kudos to Angie the bartender--super friendly, made us feel like regulars, & had some top-tier drink & food recs.

Also... Kilkenny on tap. I'm obsessed. Pretty sure I could take down a whole keg solo (don't test me).

Awesome spot, killer service, & just a good time all around. Can't wait to come back!

I was in Montreal for a day & stopped in at McLean's for an early lunch. It was a weekday & I was the first patron. Warmly greeted by the gal behind the bar. Ordered the bacon poutine (DEFO!!) & 911 wings. A definite do over, would highly recommend!

Sehr gute Bedienung, wir haben Hilfe bei der Bierauswahl bekommen samt 2 Probier-Gläschen ohne Aufpreis. Dazu hatten wir Poutine, klassisch gut. Schöne Pub Atmosphäre, Toiletten sauber. Sehr faire Preise noch dazu. Alles super, klare Empfehlung!

Good cold beer. Friendly service. Food was fine. Didn't enjoy the Butter Chicken Poutine as much as poutine in other places. Chicken sandwich was good & enough for two people.
