About us
McLean's has become a landmark bar and restaurant in the downtown core of Montreal with its authentic Irish Pub atmosphere. McLean's a wide array of food dishes and a wide selection of imported and domestic beers. McLean's pub-style decor provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy all the latest sporting events on one of the many big screen satellite TV's positioned all around the bar. Upstairs, guests can partake in a friendly game of pool or just sit back and enjoy the company of good friends.

This one is a tricky review. I went there looking for a sports bar with the Habs & the Jays ALCS game 7 on the TVs. I was welcomed & seated at a great table with views of both games. Service was excellent & very accommodating (downstairs). I decided to move upstairs where they had the Jays game on full time with audio. There was NO service upstairs. It was self serve bar only with one bartender who was head down & scrolling when I went to get a beer. Most people (a packed house) had empty drinks, empty plates, etc. The wings were great, & atmosphere was very fun. But there was no service upstairs. The staff member who was wearing a black t-shirt & clearing tables was the hardest working guy there & deserves tips.

Steps away for our hotel (Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain). Stumbled past & poked our head in. Sooooo glad we did! What a great place for food, drinks, sports, music. Sorry Peel Pub - Mcleans is now'The spot to go' in Montreal. A special thanks to (no particular order- Ricardo, Stephanie, Nes & Kyle. Thanks to the owners for having such wonderful staff. We will be back for sure!

Très sympa comme pub ! Une belle découverte au centre-ville de Montréal. L'ambiance est agréable, avec la possibilité de regarder du sport, notamment des matchs de basket. On peut également manger, même à une heure tardive, ce qui est appréciable. Le service est au rendez-vous & ajoute à l'expérience.

A mix of student/sports bar. Service is ok. Gets pretty busy & has poor ventilation. Food is what you would expect. Overall a good place to catch the fight.

A great Irish bar in town. It's been around for many years. They have their regulars, they have a nice terrace, a two-story bar, food is available, TVs if you want to watch sports. I'd recommend it!

Is a bit of an Eagles bar, or at least was for the Sunday afternoon we were there. Lots of Eagles fans.

Your typical sports bar, serving good beer with lots of bar food, even has some Vegetarian friendly options . Surprisingly they have Indian food menu as well! Haven't tried the Indian food, but will surely visit again to try that. The service is also good, & although it got busy we were looked after well. Only thing that might bother some is small patio, but its September & the patio season is anyway going away �🥶
