About us

McLean's has become a landmark bar and restaurant in the downtown core of Montreal with its authentic Irish Pub atmosphere. McLean's a wide array of food dishes and a wide selection of imported and domestic beers. McLean's pub-style decor provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy all the latest sporting events on one of the many big screen satellite TV's positioned all around the bar. Definitely an Irish pub lots of beautiful dark wood. Looked like lots of locals. Tasty drinks & food! Lots of tvs showing Sunday NFL & NHL!

Traditional Irish Pub. We had fish & chips & a beer. Everything was good. Great atmosphere. Our server appeared to be working alone. 6-8 parties came in just after we did. She really hustled & got everyone served with a smile. Reasonable prices

Maclean’s Pub is a fantastic spot! They have billiards on the second floor, which adds a fun dimension to your visit. The service was top-notch, & it's a great place to unwind with a beer. While the music can get a bit loud, it contributes to the vibrant ambiance. Situated on a bustling street, the presence of security at the door gives a sense of safety that's reassuring. I would wholeheartedly recommend it & look forward to returning for more enjoyable evenings.

Nice old rambling pub to in Montreal. Very friendly staff & interesting view from the patio with Dorchester Square park right across the street. Convenient to the metro stations & St Catherine St.

Where do you begin Service was horrendous! They seemed too busy having a good time in the service area to come serve us. When she did finally serve us, drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive. Seems as though the bartender had more time to chat to guys at the bar than preparing drinks.
Finally returning to take our food order, another 10 minutes, her attitude was just bleh. We had already sucked up enough of this crap so we decided that hopefully the food would save this experience. OMG!! How much was i wrong about this. Chicken brochette. Bland & dry. Rice was old & had to have been reheated 3 or 4 times before we got it. Fish & chips. Oh my. I cannot believe they actually had the nerve to serve it. Should have been thrown the garbage. Chilli. The chilli. Awful.
After asking around I found out even worse things. I do not reccomend this establishment, for anything or any reason.
If you value your tastebuds & your digestive tract, you'll steer well clear of Mclean's pub.
