Tout est au top dans cet endroit! Le service souriant, réactif & de bons conseils, le lieu joliment décoré & spacieux (même s'il y a beaucoup de bruit, vous n'aurez pas besoin de crier sur votre voisin pour vous faire entendre) & que dire de la nourriture... savoureuse & de qualité (les petits pains aux herbes donnent réellement envie de déménager à côté du McKiernan). Nous avons adoré & nous reviendrons très vite en famille ou avec des amis pour partager cette belle découverte. Bravo! Ne changez rien!View more

The owner is smart & generous to invest on staffing. As soon as you empty the plate, there is either a bus-boy/girl or waiter/waitress removing the plate. *The only tiny detail the bus-boy/girl need to pay attention is to ask customers if we still need utensils on the plate. If you decide to take away our utensils, please offer to give us a new set. Thank you. Our waiter is friendly, good in explaining the menu, great presence without pressure. Food is above average. Price is reasonable. *Homemade vanilla ice-cream is Blend. *Both Homemade donuts are very good. *Homemade rosée sauce is very good. Great distance between tables, very roomy. Vintage Wooden floor compliments well with the overall decoration. It was a great experience overall.View more

Came here for dinner & had a fantastic meal! We got the Moscow mule & Bloody Caesar for drinks. Started the meal with a tomato salad from their daily specials & the zesty Italian beef tartare. The tomato salad had pine nuts, basil & a delightful dressing. The beef tartare was served with endive & so delicious! We got the honey garlic spare ribs, rotisserie chicken Alexandre & fries to share. The spare ribs were so tasty - sweet & sticky. The rotisserie chicken was so good!! The sauce was so savoury - would highly recommend the rotisserie chicken & the beef tartare! The fries were shoe string cut, nicely seasoned & came with a Dijonaise. The staff were all extremely attentive & service was amazing! The restaurant space is so open & spacious. It has a great vibe. The string lights were a nice touch. They have plants everywhere - I loved it all! They also have a foosball table near the bathrooms & people were actually playing. Would highly recommend!View more

Service was very slow. They had a bunch of people working but it seemed like there were only 2-3 people working & it wasn't even busy (around 4-5 pm on a thursday). The only thing that came out fast was the food, which is maybe why the quality was subpar. I had the burrata & Parker house rolls with herb butter. Burrata was fine, the bread was basically just 4 brioche buns that seemed like it was store bought with butter poured on top. My mom had the prime rib, the sauce was too sweet & it was so tough & hard to eat. We accidentally spilled some water on the table, not one waiter noticed, & when we called, he wiped it & left the wet napkins on the table. Then after we ate we asked someone for the bill, I was waiting for about 10 mins. She said she was going to get the bill but she didn't. I had to ask our original waiter for a the bill & it took him 10 mins to get the receipt & another 10 mins to get the machine. & there was less than 5 tables in the whole restaurant!!!! Basically, its an overpriced & overrated place. Not worth going. I regret coming to this restaurant.View more

Been here a bunch of times it's always a blast but tonight the service was awful the waiter didn't know or cared about her wine, food came quickly which was nice & then she never came to check & we had to wait 30 min for the check. Food was still amazing thoView more

This restaurant was a great vibe. The decor & ambiance is awesome; modern yet still respecting the history of the building. For it's location, parking is surprisingly simple with a lot & attendant. Free for restaurant go-ers! Drink service was very slow. Some of us not receiving drinks (glasses of wine) until after food was already at the table. Not sure if this is a server issue or a logistical issue. The food is delicious & very shareable. Rolls & deviled Brussel sprouts are a must! The signature chicken is every bit the star. All in all, I can't wait to go back & experience McKiernan again & again.View more
