I love mckiernan & go very regularly but I wouldn't recommend for big groups. I booked a couple of tables for a big surprise birthday party of about 50 people months in advance & we wanted to take our time in eating & drinking but after 2 hours the waiters started to kick us off the tables because they had another group coming in. It just looked like they wanted to take our money & make us leave. We were a big group & I booked this months in advance & expected them to let us take our time. Melanie was our waitress & was very kind & Cesar as well.View more

This place is just the best. We held a surprise party there & the group was for 50 people. The communications with Stephanie beforehand were great. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic. Everybody had such an amazing time. There were many kids in our group & the restaurant is very kid friendly. There was even a foosball table & some of the kids were playing the entire night. Highly recommend & I always look forward to eating there again & again. Beautiful!View more

Amazing dining experience!! We came for the set dinner menu & the food literally wouldn't stop coming out. Everything was 10/10 & the service is great. We especially loved the starter salad, Brussels sprouts & vodka pasta. Also love the building that it's sitting inside! 100% coming backView more

I love McKiernan. It's such a vibe, & their pasta is incredible. Their spicy rigatoni is always a go-to but their butternut squash pasta was out of this world. Their classic rolls & the burrata are also amazing. The only negative was that the service was slow, but the restaurant was jammed. We also loved the energy of the support staff who brought the foods & drinks.View more

We visited McKiernan based on the recommendation of a friend. How had we missed coming here? Parking presented the first challenge but there must be a trick to it. The building hosts a range of businesses & everyone arrives by car so it's chaotic. The entrance to McKiernan is on the St. Patrick side & is clearly signed. Once inside there is a gloomy staircase to climb until at last the bright open space is reached & you have arrived at McKiernan. We hadn't booked but we were found a table. Service is friendly & efficient. We chose from the menu ordering the seafood dish & the prime rib sandwich with fries. The food was excellent although we found the portions to be on the small side. Anyway, to compensate we had a donuut & lemon meringue for dessert. Overall we really enjoyed it & we will back but we will book & be prepared for the parking, & probably order more dishes.View more

The lace has a home made type of food vipe. Nothing out of this world fantastic but good food & good drinks. All in all we were all happy & left satisfied. Would recommend this for a nice casual meal with a large gathering. Especially if you are into plate sharing as the plates are shareable. Drinks are good too. The prices of everything was also very reasonable.View more
