McKiernan est un espace chaleureux et lumineux avec une atmosphère conviviale et familiale, où les plats sont souvent salués, notamment les choux de Bruxelles, le poulet rôtisserie, le schnitzel, le rôti de boeuf et les donuts, et le menu familial ou en portions individuelles facilite les repas en groupe et les célébrations; le brunch est également apprécié pour sa valeur et sa variété. L'ambiance est vive et accueillante, dans un cadre industriel chic avec une belle lumière naturelle, bien que certains trouvent le niveau sonore élevé et l'expérience parfois chaotique lorsque le service est surchargé. The best service I have ever received. The waitresses were friendly, the atmosphere very nice, I loved the design of the restaurant & the food was perfect. The sauce of the chicken is amazing!
Beautiful venue & delicious food! We particularly enjoyed the crab soup, the chicken, fries, & the house rolls. The beef tartare was good but a bit chewy so I'd pass on it next time.

Went on Friday night at 10 ish. Service & food was amazing. We had a variety of dishes to share & everything was delish. Do not skip out on the Brussels sprouts & ribs! Our server Nic recommended an amazing orange wine & we finished dinner off with some donuts. 10/10 experience from start to finish, will definitely be back!
Went there for a company dinner & omg, what a feast it was! I generally hate Brussels sprouts but here tried them & they were amazing! Not that bitter, pretty crunchy & somewhat salty from the blue cheese. The burrata was fresh & refreshing, the tartare decent (interestingly served with chicory leaves), the ribs really nice & pretty sweet, & the brownie was awesome! Not that sweet, really chocolatey. The cocktails were pretty tiny but really nice. Huge choice of wines. The service was amazing - very friendly, accommodating & respectful. Totally recommend this place - for a group outing, a romantic dinner or for friends' meeting.

McKiernan is the perfect blend of laid-back & upscale, offering top-notch restaurant service in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The vibe is unbeatable-stylish yet comfortable, making it a great spot whether you're out for a casual bite or something a bit more special. The food is consistently fantastic, with dishes that are both creative & satisfying. It's the kind of place where you get that fancy restaurant experience without any of the fuss. If you're looking for great food & an awesome atmosphere, McKiernan is a must-visit!
This was my first time here. I'm visiting from out of town & asked that we go to dinner someplace authentic Quebecois but modern. This checks every single box & more! The food was amazing & the service just as good! 1st time in Montreal & the first place I went right from the airport. I never take photos of restaurants but I wanted to remember this place. Albeit the photo doesn't have anyone in it as we were basically the last to leave, it's how I want to remember this place!
Nous étions un groupe de 9 samedi 21 septembre pour mon conjoint & nous avons passé une superbe soirée! Le service était A1 & la bouffe .... Omg c'étais incroyable! Nous avions plusieurs personne qui ne mangeait pas de tout & tout le monde y a trouvé son compte ! Nous avions le menu de groupe & littéralement TOUT était wow !! Nous sommes tous sorti de la heureux & rempli de bonne nourriture :) merci au serveur & au gérant tout le monde était super gentil, nous n'avons pas manqué d'eau ni de rien 1 seule fois. Je recommande ce restaurant a tout le monde ! Cest une pépite d'or ! En plus il y a du parking gratuit & le restaurant en soi est magnifique a aire ouverte rempli de plante 🪴 🥰
Great family style dining experience! The portion sizes are generous & the open space concept makes for a great collective atmosphere. The only blemish on this place was the wait upon arrival, even if we had reserved which was 20 minutes & the general wait time to get served. That being said, our waiter was great & she was super knowledgeable. Would go again but would know I need to be patient.

This was our favorite restaurant of our 4 nights in Montreal. Just unpretentious great food! The roasted chicken was da bomb. Excellent service & atmosphere!
We went for a friends birthday (group of 30) on a Sunday afternoon. Amazing service, the food was to die for! I am a vegan & was expecting to have one option to eat as is normal everywhere else. No no no this was not the case! They brought out plate after plate of exciting, bright & thoughtful food. I was over the moon & so grateful to have had this experience! We can't wait to come back for date night!
We ordered a spread of different things. The rolls & rotisserie chicken was great but everything else wasn't anything special. The raspberry lemonade tasted watered down (or tasted like there was barely any sugar) it was more like flavored water. The service on the other hand was top notch & worth mentioning!
We went for brunch. Everything we had was delicious, creative, well thought out on the plate. I love the airy atmosphere & huge windows inside. As someone from New England it was fun to see the Becky's Diner mug by the host stand. Great experience all around.
